Brake Assist System (BAS)

Definition of Function
The Brake Assist System (BAS) mode engagement is based on a combination of the
pedal application rate and the pedal force threshold, or a combination of the pedal
application rate and the pedal travel threshold. Once engaged, the boost assist will
remain engaged until the driver reduces the pedal force below a threshold or until the
pedal is released pass a threshold.

Exit Threshold (MANDO)

The HBA will engage in the time that drivers brake force level are not enough for ABS engaged level.
MANDO detect the point that HBA engage by m/c pressure slope down - Pedal apply rate threshold for panic
The exact BA engage and disengage thresholds will be fully calibratable and jointly determined by OEM and supplier.
