Read this manual carefully and keep it well for future reference.
Keep the equipment away from water source or damp place.
Don't place anything on the power cable and keep it out of the reachable scope.
Don't knot or encase the cable to avoid fire hazard.
Make regular inspection to ensure that the power connections and the connecting
pieces of other equipment are reliably connected.
Pay attention to the markup on the wiring terminal when connecting the power
cable (the black end is connected with the negative polarity, the red is connected with
the straight polarity.
The power supply must meet the following conditions:
DC -48V-36V -72V
AC220V220V10, 50Hz
Unplug the power immediately and contact the After-sale Service Department of
the company in the following cases.
Water penetration;
Crash of the equipment or casing;
Abnormal operation or changed performance;
Bad smell, smoke or noise of the equipment.
Please keep the equipment clean and wipe it with soft cotton cloth if necessary.
Leave the ventilator open.
Do not repair the equipment by yourself unless it is clearly indicated in the Manual.

2.6 CHUPS
The voice services provided by BX10 Integrated Service Platform are realized
by the CHUPS and corresponding service interface cards. The CHUPS is in charge
of data send-receive, data processing and network management information
arrangement, and the interface cards provides interfaces to the voice service
equipment, such as telephone sets, magnet telephone sets, exchanges, etc. The
service interface cards convert the real line signaling and voice signals sent from
different equipment to digital signals and send them to the CHUPS, where they shall
be processed and sent to the opposite end. At the opposite end, such signals will be
restored to the real line signaling and analog speech signals that could be identified
by the user equipment in order to complete the call duration and voice transmission.
The service interface cards include the 2W4WCHUC, CHUFXOC, CHUFXSC,
EMC, MAC and CARC according to the services provided.
The indicator lights on the panel are as follows:

BX10_CARC
Applications:
CHUPS: it provides various services with cards plugged and it could provide
8 voice channels at best.
2W4WCHUC: each card provides 2 2W/4W voice channels with adjustable
attenuation as well as the independent VF channel.
CHUFXOC and CHUFXSC: Automatic station set signalling card
common telephone interface is provided, and CHUFXOC is adopted for the
connection with the exchange and CHUFXSC is used for the connection with the
user telephone. Each card provides 2 ways of 2W voice channels with fixed
attenuation.
EMC: provide one way E/M signalling interface (1E1M- 2E2M, type 1-5)
and one way 2W/4W voice channel with adjustable attenuation.
MAC: provide magnet telephone interface. Each card provides one channel.
CARC: Provide the interface for conversion from 2W carrier wave interface
2100hz signaling to 25Hz ringing current. One channel for each card.
21 , 59
Functions:
BX10_CHUPS
Supplying power to each service card, conducting data exchange and providing
outgoing lines to various service interfaces.
BX10_2W4WCHUC
Serving as the common analog station set to restore the remote off-hook and
hang-up signals.
Detecting the ring signals on the exchanger subscriber line, converting them to
digital signaling and supplying them to MCUS.
Displaying the utilization of channels.
BX10_CHUFXSC
Providing two channels of 2W telephones with automatic station set remote
signaling.
Being equivalent to the subscriber module of exchange and providing station set
feed and ring current.
Detecting the on-hook, off-hook and pulse dialing signals from the subscriber
line, converting them to the digital signaling and supplying them to MCUS.
Indicating the working order of the user port.
The maximum allowable loop resistance is 2000.
BX10_EMC
23 , 59
BX10_MAC
Completing the switching from magnet signaling to digital signaling;
Providing one channel of magnet telephone interface;
Providing the port status indication.
BX10_CARC
Operating Instructions:
The CHUPS will provide voice service jointly with corresponding service
interface cards, thus the operating instructions are introduced by the service interface
card.

It has level adjusting switches at the transmit and receive directions. There are 4
jumpers in the vertical direction, forming the upper group and lower group. The
upper groups are regulating switches in the transmitting direction and the lower
groups are the regulating switches for the receiving direction. 4dB interface level
attenuation could be added to corresponding direction via the regulating switches.
See the following figures for the position of the short circuitor and it is 0dB level

control switches of E1M1 and E2M2. It is the same for the 2E2M setting.
A. Set it to the first type of EM: apply short circuitor to A3; do not apply short

BX10_MAC
Like 2W4WCHUC, MAC also has transmit level setting switches and receive
level setting switches (24 pin jumpers-S1, S2). The transmit level and the receive
level could be adjusted respectively and the way of level setting is the same as that
for 2W4WCHUC (Note: only 2W mode is provided and there is no 4W mode)
BX10_CARC
Like 2W4WCHUC, CARC also has transmit level setting switches and
receive level setting switches (24 pin jumpers-S1, S2). The transmit level and the
receive level could be adjusted respectively and the way of level setting is the same
as that for 2W4WCHUC (Note: only 2W mode is provided and there is no 4W

2.7 DATA
Classification: DATA, 10BASE-T Ethernet interface card, RS232/485 data
interface card, V.35 synchronous data interface card.
DATA
Functional Description:
1. Each DATA provides four slots for V.35 data interface card, 10BASE - T Ethernet
interface card and RS232/485 data interface card.
2. The DATA does not provide any interface, but it may be added with interface
cards. For instance, it could provide V.35 interface with v.35 data interface card
33 , 59
plugged, RS232/485 data interface with RS232/485 interface card plugged and
10BASE-T Ethernet interface with 10BASE-T Ethernet interface card plugged. The
above three kinds of cards may be plugged into the same data interface board. The
data board could provide four V.35 interfaces, four 10BASE - T Ethernet interfaces
and eight RS232/485 interfaces at most.
Notice: RS232 data port should be well grounded or serial port isolator is
added so that RS232 data port will not be burnt out.
3. V.35 data interface and 10BASE-T Ethernet interface could be set to N64k
(n=1-31) dynamic data channel. RS232/485 data interface may be set to 64K data
channel.

2. Each way utilizes one time slot, which may be set by the network management
software freely
3. Each channel provides the transmit and receive circuits
4. The number of RS232/485 data interface cards may be configured as required, 20
at most for 2U machine case and 52 at most for 4U machine case.
