Q. 2 Job analysis is an activity that is required not only to perform all the activities of
wage and salary administration effectively but also for a variety of other
organizational needs. There are three major steps in the job analysis process
namely planning the process, collecting data, and documenting the findings.
Explain each in detail. (20)
Q. 3 Job description is an important part of the job evaluation process, but it can be
accomplished much more if the organization demonstrates its commitment to the
project and the entire process. Comment. (20)
Q. 4 The key provisions in a budget enable the organization to evaluate itself in terms
of progress made to achieve its stated goals and objectives. Discuss the budget
process and how effective it is to achieve organizational goals in a better way.

WORKSHOPS:
The workshop presentations provide students opportunity to express their communication
skills, knowledge & understanding of concepts learned during practical study assigned in
assignment # 2.
You should use transparencies and any other material for effective presentation. The
transparencies are not the presentation, but only a tool; the presentation is the
combination of the transparencies and your speech. Workshop presentation
transparencies should only be in typed format.

Make eye contact and react to the audience. Don't read from the transparencies or from
report, and don't look too much at the transparencies (occasional glances are acceptable
to help in recalling the topic to cover).
A 15-minute presentation can be practiced several times in advance, so do that until you
are confident enough. Some people also use a mirror when rehearsing as a substitute for
an audience.
Prepare assignments as per these guidelines and it may be re-evaluated by the quality
assurance cell, Department of Business Administration, Aiou, Islamabad.
