Dear family and friends,

Merry Christmas 2015 from the Benedict family

Isaiah 26:3 is filled with so much hope, joy, comfort, directionand peace. There is life-changing depth to that promise, and there is
something eternally comforting in those words: perfect peace. Perfect peace is not only possible, but if you have a personal
relationship with God, we already have His peace in our lives (Romans 5:1), and not the peace that the world gives (John 14:27). The
God of peace (Romans 15:33) gave us His peace, and it has massive power (Philippians 4:5-7). A heart at peace gives life to the body
(Proverbs 14:30) and will be seen as a characteristic of a Christ follower (Galatians 5:22). Christ-centered peace is the supernatural
ability to trust in Gods promises and rest in His provision. Since we have peace with God and from God, we are safe knowing that
the peace of God will guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:5-7), encouraging us to live at peace with everyone (Hebrews 12:14).
We wish you Gods peace during this Christmas season, and all throughout 2016.
Ally This has been an amazing year, even though its been
challenging! Id like to thank everyone for praying for me when
I was burned in February. Thankfully, I have healed completely
with no scarring except some of my hair that is still growing
back! Ive had the awesome opportunity to work with my Dad
and Mom at La Providencia. I teach Reading classes, Bible
classes, and even a hair club after school. Im part of a Honduran
student ministry at our church and it has been a great blessing.
I attended our student ministry camp, where my faith was
strengthened. I serve with our church in different ministries.
I play volleyball and soccer, and love spending time with my
friends. In the fall, I was able to go on an incredible short-term
mission trip here in another part of Honduras. Im excited about
2016 and what God is planning for me. Besides working at
La Providencia, I will be a substitute teacher in February. Thank
you for all of your prayers and support through this past year!

Zack 2015 has been a year of many changes, and a great time of
personal growth. I began the year as a full-time, online college
student, working, and serving in the student ministry at our
church. I enjoyed working out, and continued to learn about
health and fitness. Soon, I began working part-time as a personal
trainer. I am still dating my girlfriend Grace, from Costa Rica. God
has allowed us to stay together, living in different countries,
then in different states, for almost 3 years. Grace is a sophomore
at Gordon College in Boston. I was able to spend quality time
with my family this summer, and then God guided me as I moved
to Boston. I worked as a personal trainer at a gym in north
Boston, but recently refocused and accepted a job as a fitness
manager with a company that specializes in personal training.
Im looking forward to enjoying Christmas with my family in
Honduras, and then traveling to Costa Rica to spend time with
Graces family. God bless you all.

Steph Every day is an adventure here! This year, Ive counseled

both missionaries and Hondurans, taught orphaned and at-risk
kids in Bible and reading groups, helped with flood relief efforts,
built significant relationships, shared my faith, mentored
Hondurans in cosmetology, provided hospitality, tried to keep up
with Scott, guided Ally in school and her social calendar, fed the
homeless, and grown to love Christ more. By the grace of God,
Ive been able to show others some of the love Ive been shown.
We love you all, and thank God often for you.

Scott Sometimes I laugh out loud that God has called us to be

global missionaries here in Honduras. The daily life is so
challenging, there is no earthly way I can survive without Him.
With His grace and strength, Ive been able to continue to teach
orphaned and at-risk kids in a fantastic orphan care ministry.
