I joined Merlin International (A UK based Charity Organization) as Finance Officer in MCP Project (Funded by
GF) I am responsible for the over sighting of the whole KPKs financial structure funded by various donors
that includes, UNICEF, UNHCR, ECHO, WHO, RAHA, and Global Fund. I am involved in Dealing with Audits,
Forecasting and Managing Risks, Budget Controls through Forecasting and BVAs Monitoring, Variance

and Tenders, Liaison with local authorities and other Legal matters like contracts etc. In Addition I am able to

Description

I served as Finance officer for seven month in a USAID & PPAF Funded based NGO, WDO.. My work there was
to ensure that all policies and procedures are in compliance with PPAF and USAID policies, procedures, and
requirements and we are meeting all the reporting deadlines specified by PPAF and USAID. I was involved in
close monitoring of the project finances and I use to highlight potential risks to senior management. I used to
give technical support and guidance to logistic and admin staff about financial implications, WDO and donor
regulations. I used to make operational budget for the project and then monitor that budget to avoid risks.
Cash and bank books were maintained on Excel to be further posted in FIS System. I also used to make Payroll
for the staff in close collaboration of the HR. Develop strong internal control mechanism (Fin/ Admin).
