MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
Preamble
Being a Choir Member is both an honor and responsibility. It is an honor for the
privilege comes from the KING OF KINGS and the LORD OF LORDS, Our Lord Jesus
Christ. It is a responsibility because I am accountable to the Lord who gave this
privilege, to the Church where I minister unto, and to the ministry I am involved in.
Therefore I am expected to be a faithful minister in the service of God and His people.
Rules and Regulations
ATTENDANCE

The scheduled rehearsals are as follows:

Sunday Evening (after the Worship Service, lasts for 1hr.,may be extended
depending on the need)
Saturday (7:00 8:30 PM, may be extended depending on the need)
Special rehearsals shall also be scheduled upon further notice.
I am expected to attend the rehearsals regularly and as scheduled.
I am expected to be punctual.
Should I be late, I agree to pay a fine of P5.00.
Should I be absent, I agree to pay a fine of P10.00
Should I be late or absent due to emergency situations, classes, and the likes, I
am expected to inform the Choir Director (henceforth Director) as soon as I can.
Doing this exempts me from paying the fine stipulated.
If ever the reason of being late or absent is not valid upon the Directors
discretion, I am to be not exempted from paying the fine stipulated in this
document.

REHEARSAL ETIQUETTE
Before Rehearsals
I am expected to be spiritually prepared in every rehearsal, so I will pray for the
rehearsal.
On Saturdays, I am expected to be prepared before the rehearsals. Meaning, I
already have mastered my parts, memorized the lyrics of the song, and other
details needed to make the song beautifully rendered.

I am to bring a pencil/pen and my copy of the piece in each rehearsal. This will be
used to take note of the Directors instructions and other necessary things. If I do
not perform this, I agree to pay a fine of P2.00.
If I happen to be the first person to come in the practice venue, I am expected to
arrange the chairs and other equipments needed for the rehearsal.

During Rehearsals
I am expected to participate in all the activities during the rehearsal. Should I not
participate, it would be better if I would go home and not join the practice.
I am expected to sit/ stand properly according to the ideal posture for a choir
singer.
I am expected to speak less, and sing more.
If we are learning a new song to be sung on the Sunday of the following week, I
am expected to observe at my piece and the instructions of the Director.
I am expected to not use any gadget during the rehearsal. Should I violate this, I
am giving the Director the right to confiscate any gadget found used by me. If I
wish to get my gadget back, I should make a written statement expressing that I
will not use the gadget during rehearsals.
Should I want to go to the toilet or outside the practice venue, I am expected to
inform the Director and/or ask his permission if I wish to go out.
After Rehearsals
I am expected to keep my own chair on its keeping area after each rehearsal.
Make sure that I have no valuables left in the practice area.
PARTS AND PIECES
Pieces
My copy of the piece that well sing is my responsibility. Therefore I am to make
sure that I bring it before, during and after rehearsals.
I am to write my name on the piece for the purpose of monitoring and ownership.
If ever I would lose or not bring my piece during rehearsals, I agree to be fined
P5.00.
I am expected to provide myself a choir folder for the safekeeping of the pieces.
Parts
I am expected to provide myself an MP3 copy of my part on the song we are
working on.
Should I fail to secure a copy for myself, I will not be allowed to join the
performance on a coming Sunday.
EFFECTIVITY

Upon signing, I am to be accountable of all the matters stipulated in this

document.
