List of Tools Required for EIA Engineer

1. Measurement tools
1.1. Multimeter (Basic)

1.1.1. Type:
Fluke 170 True RMS Multimeter
1.1.2. Function :
For measure voltage, current, and Ohm in electronic equipment, motor
controls, domestic appliances, power supplies, and wiring systems so we
can know troubleshoot on it.
For continuity wiring in panel electrical for checking connecting
troubleshoot in electronic equipment, motor controls, domestic
appliances, power supplies, and wiring systems.
1.2. Clamp Meter (Alternative)

1.2.1.

Type:

Fluke 376 Clamp Meters

1.2.2. Function
For measure voltage, current, and Ohm in electronic equipment, motor
controls, domestic appliances, power supplies, and wiring systems but
without having make physical contact with it, or to disconnect it for
insertion through the probe. So we can do measurement when electronic
equipment still working.

1.3. Loop Calibrator (Basic)

1.3.1. Type:
Fluke 707 Loop Calibrator
1.3.2. Function
For Calibrator tests current loops of 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA and measures
dc voltage to 28 V. We can have calibration tester to all kind type of
sensor with inject 4 20 mA
For checking connectivity instrumentation to PLC which show in
SCADA system. We do it with inject 4 20 mA to module AI.

1.4. Cable Verifier (Basic)

1.4.1. Type:
MicroScanner2 Cable Verifier MS2 100.
1.4.2. Function
For verify cabling terminations and troubleshoot continuity faults so the
installations be done fast and accurately with no callbacks and
converging voice, data and video technologies for cable such as RJ11,
RJ45, and coax support.
Reduce test time and user error so we can eliminate awkward test
adapters for losing or breaking all the adapters needed for testing the
various voice data.
Rule out service problem fast and then we can repair or replace tools less
often.
1.5. Insulation Resistance Tester (Alternative)

1.5.1. Type:
1555 Insulation Resistance Testers
1.5.2. Function
For testing a wide range of high voltage equipment including switchgear,
motors, generators and cables. Its system made principle converse a low
level of resistance indicates a significant amount of current may be
leaking through and along the insulation. Insulation can due excessive
heat or cold, moisture, vibration, dirt, oil, and corrosive vapors. So
routine insulation is necessary.

1.6. Infrared Thermometers (Basic)

1.6.1. Type:
Fluke 63 Infrared Thermometer
1.6.2. Function
For quick and accurate temperature measurement and ideal for measuring
surface temperatures of rotating, hard-to-reach, electricity live or
dangerously hot target like electrical motors and panel. So this
instrumentation can display provides a readout of the surface
temperature.

1.7. Thermal Imager (Alternative)

1.7.1. Type:
Fluke Ti125 Thermal Imager
1.7.2. Function
Same with fluke 63 Infrared Thermometer as temperature measurement
but fluke 63 type can use daily for routine checking. Fluke Ti125 can use
for complicate condition such compare some temperature area for finding
potential problems.

1.8. Pressure Calibrator (Basic)

1.1.1. Type:
Fluke 719 Pro 300 G Pressure Calibrator
1.1.2. Function
For simple use calibrating and versatile sensor pressure or Gauge
pressure. Its internal pressure sensor and innovative electrically powered
pump reach higher pressure (maximum 300 psi).
1.9. Thermal Bath (Alternative)

1.9.1. Type:
Fluke Field Metrology Well 9142
1.9.2. Function
For temperature calibration refers to calibration of any device used in a system
that measures temperature. Most importantly, this usually means the temperature
sensor, itself, which is typically resistance thermometer (PRT or PT-100),
thermistor, or thermocouple.
