1.1InstallSoftware
Beforeinstallingyoursoftware,itisbettertoshutdownalltheotherapplication
programs,inordertokeepawayconflictininstallingprocess.

?Note: The following screen may differ from what you see upon CD
installation.PleaserefertoCDinstallation.
1.PleaseputthesoftwareCDintoCDROM,itwillrunautomaticallyandpopup
thefollowingdialog.

2.SelecttheLanguage,click[OK],andenterthefollowinginterface.

3. Please read the Agreement carefully. If you want to install please select [I

accepttheagreement],andclick [Next],enterthefollowinginterface.

4. Select the folder where to install the software. Click [Next] to enter the
followinginterface.

5.Selecttheinstallcomponent,andclick[Next]tocontinue.

If you do not need to use this softwareanymore, and wantto uninstall itfrom
yourcomputer,thenmayfollownextstepstooperate:
1.ClosetheAccessControlSoftwarecomplete.
2.Openthe[Controlpanel]inthe[Start]menu.
3.Enter[AddandCancelProgram]window,chooseAccessControlSoftware,
andclick[Remove]buttontouninstall.
Like doing this, you still cannot delete all files. You need enter the installation
directoryofthesoftwaretodeletethefolderwherethesoftwareinstalled.

EnrollwithFPSensor:
Ifyou needtousethe FP Sensortoenrollfingerprint,please installthe FP sensor
driverprogramfirst.Thedriverisunderthe[Driver]directoryininstallationCD.
Aftercompletetoinstallthedriver,connecttheFPsensortothePCUSBport.
The current software version supports to use the UareU series,

(1) Select [Enroll with Sensor] in user management interface, click [Enroll]
button,andenterthefingerprintenrollmentinterface,asshownbelow.

(3)Afterthefingerfinishes3timespressontheFPsensor,thesystemprompt
[Succeedinfingerprintregistration],shownasbelow.

(4)Click[OK]aftersuccessfulenrollment,savethefingerprintandreturntouser
managementinterface.
(5) Click [Verify], the following interface will appear to check if the fingerprint
enrollmentissucceedornot.

(6)Presstheenrolledfingeronthesensor,thefollowingdialogappearwhenthe
sensorcollectthefingerprint,thatis,fingerprintenrollsucceeds.

(8)If you select[Duress Fingerprint],the enrolledfingerprint will be a duress

fingerprintforuse.
EnrollwithFPDevice:
Use the FP device to enroll fingerprint. Select [Enroll with Device] in User
management interface, click [Connect Device], and the button will turn to
[Disconnect] when theconnection completed. Click[Enroll] button, and enter
the fingerprint enrollment interface. The FP device enrollment is similar to FP
sensor,exceptthereisnoverificationprocessforFPdevice.
2.Register MifareCard:
Choose the user who needs to register the Mifare card. Click [Write Card by
Device],andswipethecardneartothecardsensorareaoftheFPdevicewhen
the software reminds [Present Card]. If the device prompts [Write Card
Successfully],thisuser'sIDandthefingerprintwillbestoredinthecard.Click
[EmptyCardbyDevice]todeleteuser'sdataintheMifare,swipethecardnear
tothe card sensor areaof the FPdevicewhenthe softwarereminds[Present
Card].Thenotice[ClearCardSuccessfully]means theoperationcompleted.

?Note:ThisfunctionisavailableonlyfortheFPdevicethatsupportsMifare

the record list, directly click the head of rank to achieve. Choose a triangle
symbol,whichisbesidethefield,accordingtoascendingordertoarrangewhen
thetrianglesymbolpointupwards,otherwise thatmeansthesortorderfollowthe
descendingorder.Youcanclickthetrianglesymboltochangetheriseordown
rank.

3.2Statistic
The software can automatically count the total recordsandcountthegrouping
records.

Thisfunctionenablestheusertoimport many formatsofusersdatafile,suchas
MSExcel,MSAccess,DBF,XML,TextFile,CSVfile.Werecommendusingthe
CSVfiletoimport.Thefollowingexampleisusingtextfiletoimportusersdata.

(3) Firstly, choose the field in the fields list as to import, and then select the
corresponding rank inthe right side list. Thefieldslist will automatically attach
the corresponding numberto the nameof field,such asitis, arrange allfields
andcorrespondingrankafterfinishit,movetothenextstep.
Ifyouwanttocancelafield,firstchoosethefield,andthenclickcorresponding
rank,thesoftwarewillcancelthisfield.
(4)Clickthe[Execute]buttontorunimportingoperation.
2.Export:
Thisfunctionenablesthesoftwareexportusersdataviaallkindsofformatthat
thesoftwaresupported.Itisconvenienttosupplyforothersoftwaretouse.
Clickthe[Export]button,the followinginterfaceappears.

1.FromPCtoDevice:
Theuserthat storedinthedatabase canupload tothe FP device,click [FromPC
to Device] in the user management interface, or click the [PC to Device]
shortcutinthemaininterface,popupthefollowinginterface.

Upload:Basedonyourneed,selecttheuserandanuploadingFPdevice,click
[Upload],itisabletouploadusersdatatothedefinedFPdevice,itisbetterto
select[Fingerprint]and[UserFace]inthenormalcondition.Iftheinformation
needsnottomodify,itisnoneedtochoose it.

?Note:Usersdataincludeuserinformation,fingerprint,anduserface.
Delete:IfyouwanttodeleteauserinaFPdevice,firstchoosetheuserandthe
correspondingFPdevice,andthenclick[Delete]button.
OperationLog:Indicatestheerrorlogduringoperatingprocess.

Batch:Youcan usethisfunctionto speed up communication when uploading
manyofusersdata,itneednotforafewusers(suchaslessthan30users).

DownloadtheuserdatafromtheFPdevicetothelocaldatabase.Click[Form
Device to PC]in the user management interface, or click the [Device to PC]
shortcutinthemaininterface,popupthefollowinginterface.

SelectaFP device todownloadusersinformationthat isontheleftsidelist,click

[BrowseUsersinDevice],allusersintheFPdevicedisplays.Selecttheuser
needtodownload,clickthe[Download]buttontodownloadtheuserdatafrom
FPdevicetolocaldatabase.
ViewUserintheDevice:DisplayallusersintheFPdevice.
Download:Downloaduserdata.
Delete:IfyouwanttodeleteauserinaFPdevice,firstchooseuser,andthen
click[Delete]button.
Batch:Youcanuse thisfunctiontospeedupcommunicationwhendownloading
manyusers,itneednotforafewusers.

Communicationkey:Itisnotneedtofillthepasswordinthedefaultcondition,if
thereisasetuppasswordintheFPdevice,pleaseinputthecorrectpassword.
Device Name: According to the purpose of the device, input an observable
name.
EthernetCommunication:

IP Address: The default IP address is 192.168.1.201. Please input the IP

addressofthedeviceyouwanttoconnect.
Port:Thedefaultportis4370. Youneednottochangeit.
CommunicationkeyandNameisthesameconfigureasRS232/RS485.
USBCommunication:
Thiscommunicationmodeneedsthedevice tosupportUSBcommunication.

Device ID, Communication key and Device Name is the same configure as
RS232/RS485.
Aftersetup,click[Connect]buttonunderthewindowtotest.Ifthesystempopup
[SuccessfullyConnect],click[OK]buttontosavetheconnectingparametersof
this FP device. If the system popup [Fail Connect] dialog, please check the
parametersandtryagain. Addtheotherfingerprintdeviceasthisprocedure.
IfyouwanttodeleteaFPdevice, select thisunit,and click[Delete]button on
underside.

WiegandSettingincludes Wiegandoutputandinputsetting.
Defined Format: Indicates the formats defined and built in the system. User
needs nottodefine the lengthofbit and thelocation of information.There are
four default defined formats: wiegand26 with device ID, wiegand34 with
deviceID,wiegand26withoutdeviceID,wiegand34withoutdeviceID.
Thewiegand26withdeviceIDmeansthatthewiegand26outputformatalong

withdevice IDnumber.
The wiegand26 without device ID means that the wiegand26 output format
doesnotownthedevice ID.
Device ID defined by following: If there is no set of the site code, then it will
outputdeviceID.Moreover, ifthesitecodehasbeenset,itwilloutputthedefined
site code (which is similar to thedevice ID,they aredifferentthat this code is
definedbyuserandcanbeusedrepeatedly,rangeis0255).
FailID:ExportFailIDafterverificationfailed.Noexportwhenitisnotselect.Its
outputrangeis065534.
Site Code: Similartothedevice ID,thedifferenceisthatuser can definethis
codeanduseitrepeatedlyindifferentunit,rangeis0255.

4.4Verification
Click[Biometric]inthe[DeviceManagement]item.Click[ReadOptions],the
followinginterfacedisplays.

Fingerprint 1: N Threshold: The default value is Middle. You can modify it

properly.
Fingerprint 1:1Threshold:Itmeansthefingerprint verificationthreshold after
presentingthecard.ThedefaultvalueisMiddle.
Face1:Nthreshold:ThedefaultvalueisMiddle.Youcanmodifyitproperly.
Face 1:1 threshold: It means the threshold of user face verification after
presentingthecardthedefaultvalueisMiddle.
Only 1:1 Match: This feature is only available that a user own fingerprint, ID
card or Mifare cardfor verification,if you choose[Yes]tothis setup,mustfirst
present a card, andthen pressfingerprint.Ifdoes notslidea card, there is no
reflecttofingerprintinthedevice.
OnlyVerifyIDcard:ItismainlydesignforIDcard.Whenyouchoose[Yes],a

useruseIDcardtoverifydirectly,andneednottopressfingerprint.Whenyou
chooseitas[NO],youmustverifyfingerprintafterpresentthecard.
MustRegisterMifareCard:TherearetwostatusestoregisteraMifarecard,if
thecardwasconfigureto[MustRegister],itisonlytoverifytheuserwhoseID
hasstoredinthe FP device.The userwithout IDnumbercannot verify. Whenyou
choosetheitemas[NO],whetherthereisusersIDinformationinthedeviceor
not,itwillexportaftertheuserandfingerprinttemplateverifiedsuccessfully.

4.5PowerManagement
Click[Power]button,andthenclick [ReadOptions]button,display thefollowing
interface.

Firstly, read the parameter of [Power], modify the state of [Idle Setup] and
minutes of [Idle Time], then click the [Set Options], and restart the deviceto
completesetting.
Whentheidletimeis[0],thentheidlesetupfunctionisinvalid.Whenthevalue
morethan[0],thedevicewillentertheidlestateafterarrivesatthedefinedtime.
Youcanresumenormalworkingstatebypressthebuttononthedevice.

Click [Access Control], and then click [Read Options], display the following
interface

Lock Control Delay: Apply to determine unlockhour,theminimummeasured

unitis20 ms,inthenormalcondition that is100200 ms.
AntiPassMode:ItcanbesettoNone, Out,In,InOut.
Mastersrecordstate: ItcanbesettoNone,Out,In.
Sensor Mode: Set the door sensor mode. It can be set to None, NOpen,
NClosestate.
Sensor Delay: Set the sensor delay time when the door is open. The sensor
detects the door state only after this defined time. If the door state is not
consistentwith this parameter,it willtriggerthe alarm.Black and white screen
devicerange is0254.Colorscreendevicerangeis099.
Sensor Alarm: Set the alarm time delay after triggering the alarm. Range is
0999seconds.
Errortimestoalarm:Definethemaximumerrortimestotriggeralarm.When
the verificationisnot through, and exceed this defined times,it will trigger the
alarmsignalautomatically.

Click[ReadOptions]in[Mifare]menu,displayasfollowing.
FPCount:HowmanyfingerprintsstoredintheMifarecard.
StartSectorforFP:ThefirstsectorofMifarecardtostorefingerprint.
SectorCountforFP:Thetotalsectorthatfingerprintoccupied.
CardKey:Readandwritepasswordofcard,youcanonlysetup,cannot readit.

4.8OtherSetup
Click [Other Setup], and then click [Read Options], the following interface
appears.
RestartDevice:ClickthebuttontorestartFP device.
PoweroffDevice:ClickthebuttontopowerofftheFPdevice.
Updatefirmware:Note:Pleasedonotupgradethefirmwareatyourdiscretion
becauseitmaybringproblemsandaffectthenormaluseofthedevice.Contact
ourdistributorsfortechnicalsupportorupgradenotification.
Clearadminprivilege:Thisfunctioncanclearall administratorsprivilegethat
haveregisteredinthedevice.
InitialDevice: YoucanusethisfunctiontoclearalldataintheFPdevice.

Synctime:Synchronic thedevicetimewiththePCtime.
CaptureFingerprint:Youcanusethisfunctiontoviewthefingerprintimage.If
youwanttocheckthefingerprintimage,pleaseplacethefingeronthesensor
window,thenclickthebutton,andwillseethefingerprintimage.
Dateformat:Selectthedateformatinthedowndropmenu,thisdateformatis
thedatedisplayformatonthestartinginterfaceofthedevice.
Voicefunction:Includingvoice,voiceverifies,keypadvoice,youcanchoose
toopenorclose.Youcansetthevoicevolumetoo.Thisfunctionisavailablein
theFPdevicethatsupportsvoicehintfunction.
Operateovertime(s):Setthedeviceoperationtimeout.
Operate OverTime:Setthedeviceoperationovertime,30s bydefault.
FPVersion: Select the fingerprint algorithm version (9.0 or 10.0). The two
versionsarenotcompatible.Pleasechooseitcarefully.

4.9UdiskSettings
Youcanusethesoftwaretosettheconfigurationfile andstoreinaUdisk.When
the U disk is plug into a device, it can execute operations such as Record
download,Userdownload,UploadusersandUpdatefirmware.

UsingPCsoftwaretocreateandmodify theconfigurationfiles:
1.Click[Udisk] in[Device Management] menu,enterthefollowinginterface.

2. Select the U disk from the down drop menu, click [Read Options], the
interface display the following options, Record download, User download,
Userupload,andUpdatefirmware.

3. Select the needed operation, click [Set Options], the system will prompt

Ingeneral,youcanuseRS232,RS485,TCP/IP,andUSBtoexchangetheuser
dataandattendancerecordswithdevice.
If the communication method above is not available, you can use U disk to
download or upload the user information and fingerprint, or download the
attendancerecords.

5.1ImportUserData
1. Plug the U disk into the PC USB slot. Click [U Disk Management] in the
[Basic Options], and enter the U disk management interface. Like as follow
figure.

2.Click[ImportUserData].Thesystemwillprompt[SelectDevice]dialog.The
importeduserdataformatisdifferentaccordingtothedevicetype,soyouneed
selectthetypefirst.

User SMS: Indicate the SMS for the user to view it will appear after user

Set Time Limit: Click this item, another line will show in the interface, as the

Devicerecordnumbermeansuserattendancerecordsthatdownloadedtoevery
device. You can enter a record number. If actual record number exceeds the
preset value,the software will clear all fingerprintrecords storedinfingerprint

conveniencetoreconnectautomaticallyundertheconditionoffingerprintdevice

Activatemonitorintimezone:
Here,wecandefineonetimezonetorunmonitoring.Ifrununinterruptedpolling,
itwillbringhugeburthentowholemonitoringnetwork.Youcandefineonetime

Downloadlogtime:

Synchronictime:

Set all kinds of alarm sounds. Click [Set] button browse to select the desired

Access setting is to set unlock time and assign privilege for registered users.
Settingsofeachuserconsistofthreetimezonesettingsandonegroupsetting.
RelationshipbetweentimezonesisOR.Groupalsoconsistsofthreetimezone
settings,andtherelationshipbetweenthesethreetimezonesisOR.
Simply put, if you want to keep a registered user in unlock status. Firstly the
groupthatthisuserisinshouldbedefinedinunlockcombination(onegroupcan
bedefinedinonecombinationtogetherwithothergroup,butthesegroupsare
required to unlock door together). Second, current unlock time is in any
availabilityrangeofusertimezoneandtimezoneofitsgroup.
Under system default, a new registered user is in Group 1 and group
combinationisGroup1.Sonewregistereduserisinunlockstatus bydefault.Ifa
groupthatuserisinisnotdefinedinthegroupunlockcombinationsetting,then
theuserhavenorighttounlockthedoor.

thissoftwarebeyondthetermsinthisagreement.
YOUMUSTENSURE:
1.Onlyusethissoftwareinonecomputer.
2. In order to use in this computer, the systems copy must be made in
