Teaching aims: -to enable students to use the Past Tense Simple and Present Perfect Simple
-to develop students abilities to make a difference in using these two tenses.
-to enable students to talk about past events using a proper tense

Learning aims: -the students will be able to expose coherently their opinions
- the students will be able to talk about past events
-the students will be able to use correctly the forms of the these two tenses

Exponents: Grammatical structures: Present Tense Simple, Present Tense Continuous

Anticipated problems: The students usually omit the ending s/-es when using the verb in the
Present Tense Simple, 3rd person, sg. (*Ann play tennis.). Some students dont make distinction
between the regular and irregular verbs needed for the correct past form of the verb.
