Looking for a transfer

scholarship?
Each year the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC),
the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, USA Today Education, and Phi
Theta Kappa International Honors Society sponsor the All-USA
Community College Academic Team which, aside from recognition for
your excellent scholarship and hard work, features several transfer
scholarships to help you complete your bachelor’s degree.
Conveniently, you can apply for these scholarships through one
application.

Scholarships include
All-USA Academic Team Program
• 20 students name Gold Scholars receive $2,500 stipends.
• 20 students named Silver Scholars receive $1,500 stipends.
• 20 students named Bronze Scholars receive $1,000 stipends.

New Century Scholars Program


• A $2,000 stipend awarded to a scholar from each state.
• Winners receive stipends at the AACC Convention.

Coca-Cola Scholars
• 300 students named finalists in the All-USA academic Team program will be named Coca-Cola
Scholars and receive a $1,000 stipend.

Eligibility requirements

• Must be enrolled at SLCC through December 2010.


• Must have 36 semester college-level credit hours by December 31, 2010 with the intent to a
minimum of 48 semester hours by August 31, 2010.
• Must hold a minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Must have a community college record free of suspension, probation or other serious
disciplinary action. The applicant’s record must also be 1) free of any criminal conduct or 2) if
a convicted felon, has completed all conditions of sentencing including probation.

Application materials will be available in October 2010 from the Scholarships Specialist in Student
Center 268E or outside the Student Writing Center (AD 218) at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus.
Application deadline is November 1, 2010. All applications should be turned into Clint Gardner in AD
237.
