Pump Primer & Pumping Aid

PRODUCT
Kuna Slick Prime is a powder packed in water- soluble, ready- to- use, pre- weighed
pouches. It is a unique compound of high performance components, used for priming
concrete pumps instead of conventional (cement+fly ash+sand slurry).It offer superlative
cost reduction by saving time and protecting pump and pipe line. Kuna Slick Prime eases
hydraulic pressure in the pump, lubricates the pipeline in a more effective and
comprehensive manner and optimizes pump capacity when using sticky concrete mixes
DESCRIPTION:
1)It is a RTU(Ready to use) dry powdered product( 225 gm pouches) used for priming
concrete pump pipelines as well as works as a pumping aid for harsh concrete mixes.
2) Its absolutely environment friendly, and compatible with all kinds of cements and
concrete materials. It is absolutely free from any kinds of bentonite, chlorides, soaps or
air-entraining agents.
3) Primarily it contains VMA, water thickeners and lubricants.
4) It is packed in single packing to avoid any contact of plastic material with concrete
mixes.Outer pouch has to be removed and entire material has to be poured in the pumphopper or else bucket where we are making the slurry.
DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE (As a pump primer)
1) Remove the plastic bag and pour entire 225 gms material in the corner of the
pump hopper, or else bucket where we are making the slurry.
2) Fill water in the hopper, as normal for making slurry requisite for priming.
3) Add upto 35-40 liters of water for completely dissolving 1 pouch(225 gm),allow
some stirring to that it makes uniform dissolution
4) 1 Pouch is sufficient to prime upto 60-70 meters of pipeline.2 Pouches for 100
meters pipeline. For every additional pouch as per increase in pipeline length we
must add 40 liters extra water for proper dissolving.
DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE (PRIMING AID FOR HARSH MIXES):
1) It can be added directly to ready mix concrete, but in that case add sufficient water
as recommended ,because KUNA SLIK PRIME needs water to hydrate and all
concrete mixes are made with super plasticizers, which means low w/c ratio,so in
case if KUNA SLIK Prime absorbs any water from the mix it will do an adverse
effect.
2) Mixing should be uniform and should be done for atleast 5-7 minutes.

WHY TO USE KUNA SLIK-PRIME

slurry-1pouch used(Rs 200) against 4-5 bags of cement(Rs
1000)

mixers to carry cement slurry from 1 place to other, that
transit mixer can actually be used to carry concrete.

.Operator dislike pump blockages as much as you do. Once
they understand how well Kuna Slick Prime work, they will
only insist on its usage, thus reducing the number of pump

MIXING RATIO
One pouch of 225g Kuna Slick Prime gives 18-40 it . pipe line
lubricating slurry.
Kuna Slick Prime is used instead of Sand/ Cement slurry made of
50 to 150 kg cement and 50 to 100 kg sand + hour time for
preparation of slurry
