Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and
his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is
flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go
well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great You are and
how much I love You. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed.

The story of Adam and Eve getting their sins forgiven because of the
shedding of the blood of an animal is like a shadow of Jesus death.


Genesis 3:21, The Lord made clothes out of animal skins for Adam
and his wife to wear.

The first man and woman God created were Adam and Eve. They
lived in a perfect world that God made just for them. They were
given only one rule to obey. If they could obey that one rule their
world would stay perfect for them. They had a whole garden of trees
and plants, but one tree was off limits to them. Gods rule was for
them never to eat fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil. He said if they disobeyed this rule they would die on that very
day. They did not keep Gods rule and they ate from the tree, but
they did not immediately die. They ate the fruit and kept on living.
Did God lie? No! Their bodies kept on living, but the inside or their
spirits, had died. They had done things their own way instead of
Gods way which is sin. Before this day they had never known death
or sin; now they were separated from God by the sin of disobedience. They felt dirty and bad for what they had done. When God
called for them to come walk with Him like He had always done they
hid from Him. They even tried to cover themselves with the leaves
of a fig tree. But the fig leaves didnt hide their sin from God. When
they told God what they had done and how bad they felt He was
able to help them.
God killed an animal and shed its blood to make clothes for Adam
and Eve to wear. The animals skin covered their physical bodies.
Adam and Eve wore the clothes as a symbol that their sins were
covered from Gods sight. This all happened in the beginning of the
world. Its what the Bible calls a type and shadow. Many years
later Jesus would be a type of covering for mans sins as He was
called the Lamb of God. Jesus blood shed on the cross for the sins
of man is a shadow of the first blood shed when God killed an
animal to cover Adam and Eves sin. The punishment for sin is still
death, of mans spirit and blood is still the price to cover sin and keep
a relationship with God. God places a high value on blood. We have
victory over all problems when we believe in the power of the blood
of Jesus.
