Who is PRCI?
 A Registered National body & a non-political organization of professionals in
the field of public relations, communications, advertising, education and
many other allied services.
 Provides industry professionals an opportunity to serve their community by
encouraging high ethical standards & is the top forum to offer accreditation
to professionals.
 Has a separate cell for social action to look at developmental and social
issues.
 For the past 4 years, has initiated the process for Accreditation of PR &
Advertising work in India.
 Has constituted an Expert Committee and an Expert Sub Committee to study
and recommend the process of Accreditation.
 Is based out of Bangalore.

Award Trivia
 PRCI has instituted awards for excellence in PR, Communication and Advertising to
recognize superlative effort by corporates and community at large.
 The idea is to recognizes achievers at an all India level. The awards event attracts
guest from all over India & abroad.
 Mahindra Group entered the awards through many of the campaigns launched
during the year.
 In all there were nearly 300 corporates that participated in the programme and
Mahindra group, besides winning the award for MNAL OK No Longer Ok campaign,
has won awards for other entries as well like:
o Mahindra Lifespaces
o Sustainability project
o Electronic newsletter of the group
 The awards ceremony will be held on April 3rd at India Habitat Center (Gulmohar
Hall), Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

by the Public relations Society of India (PRCI).
