Managing Pages

Title Bar

The default pages set up in eSignal include a series of

preset windows specially designed for eSignal Pro users.

The title bar contains the title of the window and gives you
the ability to link windows and pop-out windows, as well
as minimize, maximize and close the window.

 To select one of the preset pages:

1. Select Page from the main menu.
2. Select the page you wish to view from the list of
pages at the bottom of the menu.

The text in the title bar represents the title of the window.
Select this icon to turn symbol linking on or off
for the window and to control which windows are
linked within a page.

 To create a custom page:

1. Select Page > New Page from the menu. A blank
page will appear.
2. Select File > New from the main menu, and select
the window type you wish to place on your page.
3. Move the window to the desired spot on the page.
4. Continue to select File > New and each window type
until you've selected all the windows for your page.
5. Select Page > Save Page, name your page, and
select Save.
6. The page is now saved, and you can retrieve it by
following the instructions described above under
"To select one of the preset pages".

conserve space on the desktop.
Select this icon to pop the window out or float it
out of the eSignal frame and/or to display it on
top of another window.
Select this icon to minimize the window.
Select this icon to maximize the window.
Select this icon to close the window.

Selected Quick Tips

 Right-Click
Most Windows Open a chart, set alerts or access
Corporate Actions and Reorganization information.
T&S and T&Q Windows Use Filters to search
Quotes and Trades and data on specific Exchanges.
Options Window Access Regional Options.
 Left-Click
News Window Bring up a full news story.
 Double-Click
Detail Window Edit the fields.

To view previous sessions OHLCV data on a stock:

 On a Detail Window, enter #symbol; for example,
#GOOG or #MSFT

Special Trade Conditions and Symbol Flags

The following special conditions will appear as text next to
a symbol in any window that displays quote information
(detail, quote, summary, etc.) whenever these conditions
occur:
