mental health & well-being. Back by popular

personal level and provide practical strategies.

Divorce; the 3 DS (Dementia, Depression &
Delirium), Caregiver Burnout and Tobacco
Strategies for Quitting and much more. This 12

The Goal
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 people directly and
all of us indirectly- the good news is that it is
preventable but most importantly for those
affected; recovery is possible. It is our hope that
open and honest talk of mental health issues will
open up the dialogue in our community and
encourage discussion on subjects that were once
considered taboo. We hope that this awareness
programing will better educate our community
and reduce the stigma associated to mental
illness. We need to start viewing mental Illness
as just another aspect of health; ultimately CMHA
wants to encourage positive conversations
surrounding mental health and encourage people
to reach out to the many services that exist right
here in their own community. Together we can
make a positive difference.
