These facilities, which will use liquefied natural gas (LNG), formed part of First Gens vision to build a portfolio of more than 1,300 MW
of additional power generation capacity up to 2019. These will add to the existing gas facilities of First Gen, which owns and operates
the 1,500-MW Sta. Rita and San Lorenzo power plants.
These plants currently get their natural gas requirements from the Malampaya gas field off Palawan.

EDC, according to Puno, will also be spending some $300 million this year for the completion of its 87-MW Burgos wind farm. This
facility is expected to start commercial operations this year.
The $300-million Burgos Wind Project, EDCs initial foray into the wind energy business, is seen as one of the biggest investment
projects to date in Ilocos Norte.

Aeroderivative gas turbine technology---part of GE's distributed power portfolio---is an innovation derived from GE's CF6 aviation
engine, which powers many wide-body aircraft worldwide. GE's aeroderivative gas turbines have the capability to burn both liquid fuel
and natural gas. There are more than 3,200 aeroderivative gas turbines installed globally.
the Avion power plant will utilize Malampaya gas and diesel fuel and is seen to potentially utilize resources from the power producer's
planned liquefied natural gas terminal in Batangas. The turbines provide fast, flexible and efficient power to address the needs of the
local power grid, especially in a wholesale spot electricity segment. The LM6000-PC Sprint can accommodate a variety of operating
needs, including fast starts and peak loads, while leading the industry in high availability and reliability.

The next investment strides for the company will be to put up a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal close to its gas-fired power
generation facilities. By then, it could also cater to non-power markets, such as the transport sector and the industries by installing a
gas pipeline close to these end-users.
First Gen officials said the pipeline to industrial customers in Batangas could be a shorter route of 30 kilometers. These targeted endusers, based on survey, could add up 100MW to the project developers potential capacity off-takes.

In a report to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the company said it has chosen a Slovakian contractor for its power plant. The Avion plant
is targeted to be completed and operational by April 2015, and will help provide additional power supply at that time.
Avion will be located adjacent to First Gens 1,000-MW Santa Rita and 500-MW San Lorenzo natural gas-fired power plants in
Batangas City.
First Gen president Francis Giles B. Puno has said that Avion, the first of the so-called San Gabriel gas power plants, is targeted for
opening by summer next year and will operate mainly as a peaking plant to help address the Luzon grids peak energy requirements.

The plant will run on Malampaya gas and will have the capability to burn liquid fuel as backup.

First Gen will later construct the 450-MW San Gabriel combined cycle power plant, using one of the most advanced and efficient gas
turbines in the market today. The plant will use liquefied natural gas (LNG), which is a clean alternative to coal fuel. The phase 2 facility
is set for opening on March 2016.

The project will be pursued under new corporate vehicle Prime Meridian Powergen Corporation (PMPC) and is set for completion
around summer next year.
