Esta gua est dirigida a los pacientes con cuadros adquiridos in tero o
durante el periodo perinatal y no contempla las sepsis de origen
nosocomial, las adquiridas en la comunidad, ni los cuadros infecciosos de
origen viral o parasitario.
Para efectos prcticos de seguimiento epidemiolgico y de manejo
consideraremos los siguientes trminos:
