Introduction
In this report, we will focus about the development of education in the
Philippines from 1981 1990. We will tackle about some laws implemented in
the given period, the changes in these laws, the development of education as
time pass by, and what happened in the given period.

Description
Provides for the protection of all
students in all institutions of
HEIs.
Primary Education is
compulsory and is six years in
duration divided into a four-year
primary cycle (grades I-IV, age
7 to11) and a two-year
intermediate cycle (grades VVI, age 11 to 13).
Curriculum:
Core subjects: language arts
(Filipino, English, and local
dialect), mathematics, health
and science;
Makabayan subjects:
Grades I-III civics and culture
Grades IV-VI music, arts, and
physical education; home
economics and livelihood.
Values education and GMRC
are integrated in all learning
areas.
An integrated system of
education covering both formal
and non-formal education at all
levels. Formal Education is
classroom-based, provided by
trained teachers. Informal
education happens outside the

Education to maximize respect


for human rights. The past
regime was characterized by
numerous violations of human
rights. To gain greater respect
for human rights and to deter
violations thereof, there is an
urgent need to educate the
people about these rights, the
serious consequences of, and
the avenues of redress from
violations.
The Constitution of the
Philippines (Filipino: Saligang
Batas ng Pilipinas, lit.
"Fundamental Law of the
Philippines", or Konstitusyon
ng Pilipinas) is the constitution
or supreme law of the Republic
of the Philippines. Its final draft
was completed by the
Constitutional Commission on
October 12, 1986.

previous constitutions have
effectively governed the
country in the past: the 1935
Commonwealth Constitution,
the 1973 Constitution, and the
1986 Freedom Constitution.
Placing all public secondary
school teachers under the
administrative supervision and
control of the DECS. it is the
declared policy of the national
government to give priority to
education, science and
technology, arts, culture and
sports to foster patriotism and
nationalism, accelerate social
progress, and promote total
human liberation and
development. The State is
mandated to establish and
maintain a system of free
education in the elementary
and high schools levels

Reflection
