for Resource Persons/Mentors for "PRAGATI" Interventions

for

Hindi, English and Maths in all Govt. Schools.

The Directorate of Education is going to start a learning

Enrichment Intervention

named

"PRAGATI" in all the Govt. Schools for Hindi and Maths in Classes VI - VIII and for Hindi,
English and Maths in Class IX for the Session 2016-17.
In this regard, a Teachers' Mentor Group (TMG) is proposed to be constituted
the creative expertise of about 200 teachers in further strengthening
pedagogic capacities of TGTs of Directorate

to leverage

the academic and

of Education teaching Hindi and Maths to

Classes VI - IX. The teachers chosen to be in the TMG would get additional

opportunity,

exposure and support to sharpen their own knowledge and professional skills. In return,
they would

be expected

to help the other teachers in the system through

capacity

enhancement sessions and onsite support.

The main function of the TMG will be to conduct training and capacity building sessions for
TGTs Hindi & Maths and provide onsite support to these teachers at their respective
schools regularly. Each TMG member may be assigned 5-10 Government schools.
