Near one of the most important monuments in Morelia, Las Tarascas, is
located CoCoCo, a Korean restaurant. Come Comida Coreana is the meaning
of the Spanish acronym CoCoCo, and Eat Korean Food would be the words used
to say that in English.

A small place with only a little

kitchen and five tables, three inside
and two outside, is all the restaurant.
Very colorful with traditional Korean
touches is the decoration. There are
traditional Korean ornamentation.
Very warm and calm is the place.

To a Korean girl named Sulky Pak belongs the restaurant. A young girl thats in
her twenties is she. She decided to live in Mxico because she likes our culture.
Nowadays she is a teacher and also spend a lot of time in the restaurant.

Since 4 years ago has been running

the restaurant, but only 3 years
located in that place. In
Cervicentro, a shopping mall away
from there was the restaurant before.
So many kinds of delicious
home-made Korean dishes and some
unusual drinks serves the restaurant.
From Korea are imported some of the
ingredients, others are local. For two
local cooks are made all the dishes.
Thought by Sulky were the cooks,
absolutely.

A dish with a strange name that I

dont remember was the dish I ate in
mi visit. Fried chiken with a
sweet-spice sauce, white rice and
cucumber with chili as a side was
that unnamed dish. Very delicious
was it. A fresh cold cucumber water
to drink was my right choice. I can
say that very different than a
Mexican dish dont look the dishes,
bur something very different is the
flavor.

I really enjoy the food and I really

liked the restaurant because it
makes you feel like if you were
eating in the kitchen of your own
house. It has the homelike
characteristic, the service is
agreeable and accessible were the
prices. I really recommend CoCoCo if
you want to eat something new and
enjoy an afternoon with someone
special.
