Position Title: Accounting Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
MANAGEMENT

Report to Board and Management on financial matters


Provide Management with analysis of business performance via weekly and monthly
reporting
Prepare budgets and financial reports
Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations
Day-to-day accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and bank reconciliation
Maintain chart of accounts and an orderly account filing system
Upgrade and maintain financial controls and procedures including cash management
Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
Maintain a professional relationship with financial partners
Recommend policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure sustainable
growth
Support optimization of IT systems to improve overall business performance
REPORTING

Ensure financial reporting processes are in accordance with GAAP and Company procedures
Issue timely and complete financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate report
Provide financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract
negotiations
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filing
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Four year degree in accounting / finance


5+ years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Experience in Cost Accounting
Experience with financial reporting tools, Excel and MS Office products, and Quickbooks
Experience managing and/or working with ERP systems (Filemaker experience a plus),
systems enhancement
projects and service providers
Experience working with Mac OS
SKILLS

Ability to interpret financial statements, analyze results and identify key issues
Knowledge and experience in financial concepts, budgeting, and forecasting
Strong financial modeling skills including cash flow modeling
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
DETAILS
40 Hours per week
