Nightwing - Speedy - Green Arrow

FIRST
[Ext. Star City / Nightwing walks around the city]
NW: Hey guys, how are you? What am I up to? Well, I dont feel like doing
anything really.
[Stops in front of an ice cream parlor]
NW: Im not in the mood for ice cream either Not even if they served me
the biggest sundae in the entire world!
[In the background theres a giant ice cream]
NW: You know, its not easy being a superhero. After a while you get tired,
and to be honest Im not sure if I can help everybody, specially my friends.
[Cut to Nightwing staring at the sunset up on a hill]
NW: Everything is so boring. Nothing seems fun anymore.
[Walks down the fake hill. The sunset was an ad on the street.]
NW: I think I dont have any more friends in this city. Where should I go
next? [Checks a map]
NW: Uhm, I dont know where but that fake hill made me want to go to a
mountain or something. Maybe I could get some fresh air there.
[Cue rain]
NW: Wow, this is the cherry on top of the cake. Now I do feel like the
saddest being on earth: defeated and with no friends Well, these past few
episodes Ive met up with some of my old pals, like Aqualad and Kid Flash,
and Ive learned tons of new stuff about the world and myself But I can
expect to be like that every day. Oh! I forgot about Superboy He reminds
me of someone someone like Superman.

[Walks into a pet store]

NW: Should I get a new pet? Maybe a black cat
[Walks into a flower shop]
NW: Should I get a plant? Maybe a palm tree
[Walking down the streets of Star City]
NW: Nothing seems appealing to me, really
[Someone shoots arrows at Nightwing and they form a circle on the ground
around him]
NW: Who is there?! Show your face! Dont be a coward!
[The screen fades to white Nightwing fainted]
SECOND
[Ext. Star City]
S: Dude, what happened?
[The screen fades back to the streets of Star City]
NW: Shoot, I dont know I think I fainted. Its the first time this has
happened to me.
S: Yeah, right. Youre pretty weak. Youre always passing out everywhere,
haha!
NW: Hey, Im not as weak as you thing!
S: That sounds like a challenge!
NW: Deal! I can beat you in any sort of competition.

S: Oh, yeah? Lets see who can eat the biggest chocolate and almonds
ice cream in the entire world the fastest! Its right here in Star City!
NW: Haha, you chose the wrong opponent!
S: Dont count on it!
[Cut / Star City Square / Two giant ice creams / Nightwing and Speedy are
right in front of them]
NW: Are you ready to bite the ice?
S: I was born ready! Try not to get a brain freeze!
VOICE: Ready Set Go!
[Nightwing and Speedy start eating their ice creams]
NW: Did you get a stomachache already, Speedy?!
S: Haha, no! But I can see all the way from here that your teeth have caries!
[Speedy is winning so far]
NW: Dont be absurd! Do you have telescope eyes?!
S: Duh! Thats why I have such a good aim!
NW: Uhm right
[Nightwing slips on something and falls to the ground]
S: Haha, youre such a loser! You cant even come up with a comeback!
NW: Cmon, Speedy! Dont kick a man thats on the ground! Lately Ive
been having trouble at
S: Oh, really? [Stops eating his ice cream]
NW: At not beating you! Haha! [Starts eating his ice cream again]

S: What?! Cheater! [Resumes eating]

[Cue screaming far away]
THIRD
[Star City Square / Ice cream competition]
S: What was that?!
[Theres a dragons shadow on the ground]
NW: Now you have super hearing too?! Super sight, super hearing You
cant just steal Supermans job like that!
[Cue the citizens of Star City screaming]
S: No, look! People are running around all over the city!
NW: Whats happening?!
[Cut Nightwing and Speedy are on top a building]
S: Look! Star City is under attack! We have to stop them!
[Shoots some arrows]
S: Theyre too many
[Theres a dragons shadow on the ground]
NW: Those are endermen. We shouldnt attack or stare at them, or they will
become more aggressive!
S: Good thing we are up here [An enderman attacks him from the back]
Oh, fudge!
NW: Dont worry, Speedy! [The enderman teleports when its attacked]

S: Wow, did you see that?!

NW: Yeah, its nothing new! But its so weird there are so many here in Star
City And its not even the time of the year!
S: What time of the year?
NW: Apples season! Endermen are always after apples. They like sweet
stuff because, you know, theyre not sweet at all.
S: Well, would you look at that Anyways, we have to stop this unexpected
endermen invasion!
NW: I agree!
[Cut / Nightwing and Speedy are fighting the endermen (Nightwing uses his
sword)]
S: I dont think this is working!
NW: Youre right! Every time I think I defeat one, two more appear!
S: Maybe theyre multiplying I dont know, these things are so mysterious
and weird!
[Theres a dragons shadow on the ground]
NW: We must retreat so we can come up with a plan to defeat them.
S: No! Im not giving up!
NW: You got to know when to retreat, Speedy! We have to go and come
back when were ready. Patience will bring us the victory!
[Cut]
CUARTA
[Int. Green Arrows lair]

GA: Sometimes Star City is so boring But thats a good thing, right? It
means the crime rates are going down. Speedy is doing such a great job
too I think its time for me to [The doorbell rings and interrupts him]
S: Hey, Green Arrow! This is Nightwing.
NW: Its a pleasure to meet you, sir!
GA: The pleasure s mine, Nightwing Now, what are you doing here? Im
really busy at the moment, you know
S: Theres an endermen invasion in Star City and we cant defeat them!
GA: You cant defeat them?! Hows that?!
NW: We think theyre multiplying and they teleport when we try to attack
them.
GA: Uhm Just give me a minute. [Walks towards a book shelf and starts
Reading a book] Aha! [Goes back to Nightwing and Speedy] I know what to
do, guys. Do you know what an ender dragon is?
S + NW: No idea.
GA: Its the endermens boss! If you defeat it, you can defeat its minions
quite easily.
NW: Wow, I didnt see a dragon anywhere. What about you, Speedy?
S: Me neither, but I spotted a weird shadow everywhere It could be the
ender dragons!
NW: Well, it sounds like we have to defeat it to stop the invasion!
[Nightwing and Speedy run to a rooftop and they spot the dragon in the
sky. They shoot arrows at it but nothing happens]
NW: Uhm What now? Lets ask Green Arrow again!
[Back to Green Arrows lair]

GA: You kids are so impatient You didnt let me finish! If you want to
defeat an ender dragon you must destroy its amulets, the Ender Crystals!
NW: Great! And where do we find those?!
GA: Usually theyre placed in really high places. If you destroy the six
Ender Crystals you can defeat the dragon.
NW: Thanks, Green Arrow!
FIFTH
[Ext. Star City / at a buildings rooftop]
NW: OK, Speedy, we have to destroy those crystals.
S: But where are we going to find them, Nightwing?
NW: Wait, Im going to use my what was it called? [Starts pulling out
things like toys, clothes and food and he throws them to the ground]
S: Wow, you sure have big pockets.
NW: Eureka! Here it is This device helps you locate water in a dessert,
and its perfect as a GPS. We can use it to track down the Ender Crystals
OK, it marks six crystals scattered around the city!
S: All right, Nightwing, I think you know what that means
S + NW: A competition!
[They run on opposite directions / the camera follows Nightwing]
NW: OK, heres the first one! One out of three Speedy should get the
other tree crystals, but Ill do it much faster!
S: Oh, no, I cant lose against Nightwing! I better get going!

NW: [Free running] Shoot, the next crystal is pretty far off. Its time to risk it
all! Ill make the jump!
S: Were tied! I saw the next crystal. Its over there!
NW: Wow, I made it! Now its two out of three! Speedy, Im winning again. It
looks like youre not that fast after all.
S: [Grunting] Its not over yet. All right, I destroyed another crystal. Were
tied again!
[They run towards the last two crystals. The screen splits in two as theyre
about to destroy the Ender Crystals. A strange light appears and the
dragon roars]
NW: Whoops I think the dragon knows were up to something.
[The dragon flies towards them and spits fire They dodge it]
S: Nightwing, leave this to me! [Shoots freezing arrows]
NW: You have such a bad aim, Speedy...
S: OK, then you try it! Dont just stand there! This is not a TV show!
NW: Ill use freezing arrows too!
[Nightwing and Speedy shoot arrows at the dragon as it flies towards them
The dragon lands on top of a building The arrows hit it The dragon is
frozen solid]
S: Wow, great hunt!
NW: You eat dragon meat? Thats too much, even for me.
S: Its an expression, you doofus!
NW: Hey! Youre the doofus!
S: All right, lets settle this like men, then!

[Speedy and Nightwing start fighting each other The dragon roars and
they stop fighting]
NW: Ah! I think we should call the animal control service.
S: Im on it! Hey, Nightwing Im sorry for being so obnoxious
sometimes Cmon, lets have some ice cream. You like ice cream, right?
You almost beat me at that contest we were having earlier, haha.
NW: Yeah, hehe. Im in the mood for some ice cream now.
SIXTH
[Ice cream parlor]
S: Done! Wow, I love eating ice cream. How is yours?
NW: Great! Thanks for this, Speedy. I really needed it.
S: Yeah, well, I imagined you did. I heard you had some troubles with Slade
a while ago.
NW: Uhm, Id rather not talk about that.
S: OK, OK. From time to time all you need is some comforting dessert.
NW: [Close up Cue corny music] Thank you very much, Speedy. I realized
that despite how annoying and dumb and ugly and obnoxious I think you
are, youre still a great friend.
S: [Stop the music] Uhm OK This is rather awkward.
NW: No, I mean it! Without your help I wouldnt know how to deal with the
endermen! And besides, your arrow was the one that hit the dragon!
S: Yeah, maybe its because I was competing against you, hehe.
NW: Yeah, I think thats an important part of friendship. Competing and
being good sports about it. And eating ice cream afterwards!

S: Yeah, who knows? Friendships are so different from one another.

NW: [Cue the corny music again] Youre right. The truth is that, despite
feeling lonely, Im never alone! I have so many friends the Teen Titans,
Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy Theyre always there for me!
S: Youre getting corny again.
NW: [Stop the music] Yeah, right! Sorry, hehe! Well, guys, today I learned a
valuable lesson. When I find myself in the downs, I can always count on my
friends, and they can count on me! Thats what real friendships are. And
