Objectives

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to


i) demonstrate understanding of The Superville Superhero comic by giving
proper responds to simple questions about it correctly and appropriately.
ii) apply dictionary skills by matching at least 5 out of 9 word cards to its
meaning in the comic correctly.
iii) understand the passages (linear texts) of the comic by answering at least 3 out
of 5 questions based on the comic The Supervise Superhero correctly.

1. Teacher projects the comic onto the
whiteboard and pupils are asked to
read them aloud.
- Each table group reads one passage
after another and pupils are asked to
explain the story line of each
passage in their own words.

representatives to paste the word
cards at the correct bolded words.
- Pupils are encouraged to use a
dictionary.

* Teacher facilitates pupils while they


are doing the discussion and guides
them to use dictionary.

7. Teacher discusses the correct answers


together with pupils.
