Circuit Pressure
Pressure drop of the coolant in the circuit

Circuit coolant Temperature

Shows temperature rise/fall of coolant in circuit

Circuit Flow Rate

Flow rate of the coolant in a circuit
Useful if Reynolds number was set as the input
A parallel circuit was used

Circuit Reynolds number

Shows the amount of turbulence of the coolant
Water turbulent at about 4000 Reynolds number
Target Reynolds number 10,000

Circuit Metal Temperature

Water metal interface temperature (picture)
Should be within 5C. of the water temperature
Higher temperatures would indicate not enough
flow rate to extract heat from the tool efficiently

Results
Key Results are the most important results to
review when doing a cooling analysis in most
cases
Secondary results are used to support the
findings of the Key Results or to help
understand a problem better.
Many times secondary results are not
reviewed.

Model (dustpan) ready to run
Is set up as an Ideal GIP. Results still funny as of build
01364. Originally I put up as an issue on build 01351.
1364 is better, but I would not expect a surface temp the
same as water. Push comes to shove 01364 is a lot better
than 01351.
Review results carefully before using as example
Run analysis use as example in manual and give to user

Exercise
Similar to MPI 2 Unit 2, have the user look at
the results of an analysis of the original
cooling line layout on the dustpan.
Dont worry about specific temperatures, but
just the trends.
