Describe a risk you took that proved successful. Also describe a risk you took
that was not successful. What did you learn?
Well I have taken many risks in my life 50 percent of them were passed. First I will talk
about the risk that was not successful in my life, this risk that I will talk about I took that
risk in my middle school. It was in my 8 th grade of school; two years ago I went to
Pakistan due to my Moms sickness. My Father admitted me there in an academy I
started my 6th year preparation for my school exams in KSA and improved a lot in my
studies I even completed my 7th grade studies there. So when I came back to KSA I
passed my final exams of both classes with a good grade. When my 8 th grade started, I
stared making friends in that class. There was a friend of mine in that class who was
really intelligent and sharp guy. He use to always have fun in school, well he was a
really good friend of mine. Whenever my friend calls me the first question he used to
ask was about the homework. So I tell him about the homework and then he asked me
that what am I doing, I answered him that I am preparing for a test in this coming week
so he replied me back, come on man weve got time in the test why are you studying
chill up. So my friend use to say me every time come on just chill dont think too much

about it youve got a lot of time and youre an intelligent guy you can cover up that all
but I used to ignore. After that when I scored well in my Monthly tests. My friend came to
me again congratulated me for scoring good in my monthly tests. He also scored good
in the tests so advised me again that Ive prepared a lot for my test and so I will good in
my exam for now I should leave my exam preparation for now and study at the end of
the week. So being over confident I took that risk and in result didnt score well in my
finals which in result made a bad average for my 8 th grade. So this was the risk I took
and in result it was not successful experience for me. There was risk I took in my 10 th
grade. I didnt scored that much well in my school academics so there 2 months left in
my O level exams the school was not recommending me to give those exams, so I had
deal with my school that if recommend me for the O level exams, if I dont score good in
those exams I will repeat my 10th grade in this school and if score good in those I will
promoted to the my second last year of high school. So my school academic director
accepted that deal and I was recommended for the O level exams. When the exams
were finished and the school results were announced, I scored well in that exam
because I studied really hard for that. This was the risk I took and I got successful. So
Ive learned if you take risks you should first of all believe in yourself and you work really
hard for the success, unless if you arent capable of doing that and cant handle that
pressure it will be hard for you to achieve success.

Describe your most challenging and rewarding team-building experience. What

insights did you gain from this experience? Also, describe a time when you were
part of a team that didnt work well, describe your role and what you learned from
this experience?
Team building experiences are very unique. You can build very good experience from
that. You can share your ideas with people who are in the team you can get a lot of help
with that. Well in Team Work experience I had been working together in group projects,
group assignments and for a long a time I was in my high school cricket and football
team. Ive got a lot experience from that. I was in the cricket team for 3 years, Ive
watched players coming and going in our team with some of them were getting chances
and some didnt get any chance to play. I remember our school cricket team applied for
the first time for the cricket tournament in ARAMCO. The players selection was about to
start for our school team. The school started picking the players from 9th - 12th grade
and I was 9th grader at that time. So some of the seniors were picked and some of the
juniors. They were equally picked, so while the matches started our captain was injured
so he had to miss that match, so another senior got his replacement. I remember my
over was going on the players had no unity. So needed their and miss field on our overs
so that I concede more run and get dropped out the cricket team. They were creating
politics in the team to take most of the juniors from the team give other seniors an
opportunity to play, but unfortunately they were failed to do that due the number of
wickets I took, so Ive been through those rough and challenging situations. The bad
sight in team building experience was only few players had an opportunity because the
team thought of only making their schools name famous and only those few new

players were given the opportunity to play for the school team and rest of them were
benched or either picked for support with no credit. In the cricket I had two friends who
were good friends and even though good players in the cricket team having a clash
between the due to what theyve achieved from the team, the politics of the coach
between the two players were that, who should be picked as a captain? Due to even
fewer chances given to the players the team spirit was not created team the only thing
wanted was they needed a chance to play. My role in cricket was that I was medium fast
bowler in the team. I experienced that in the match when I performed well I was
selected the for the next match to play and the day didnt perform well I was benched on
the next match, but I never ever loosed my team spirit because I saw my opportunity as
representing my school team it was not representing myself and the love with game
cricket. So the thing that Ive learned from this that if does something with passion you
never ever fail to get that opportunity. You should take the advantage of team building
experience.
