There is no age restriction for admission to any course. Candidates from all over India will
be admitted without any entrance test provided the candidates fulfill the requisite qualifying
conditions mentioned for the course.
I)
Preserve this prospectus, refer the same for rules and regulations, further to clear your

II)
All types of Fee can be paid through Demand Draft in favour of the
DIRECTOR, CDE, MGU, Nalgonda (A.P.). All DDs should be taken from any
Nationalized bank.

There are no fee concessions to any category of students. Fee once paid by the student
will neither be refunded nor adjusted.

Check whether D.D. is signed by the bank officers and whether the branch name, date
and address are indicated on the D.D.

Preserve the Identity card with Enrolment number, till the course is completed.

The Enrolment number (Admission number) and Examination Hall ticket number are
the same till you complete the course.

Collect the course material personally by showing the fee receipt and Identity card from
the selected Study Centre.

Late fee will be charged (Penalty) after the due date of the Payment of fee.

Change of address, if any may be communicated immediately to the Study Centre with
Enrolment number, Course, Year.

Choice of Course of study once made will be final and no change of subject will
be entertained.

The students of the Centre in distance mode courses are not eligible for Bus Pass and
Hostel facility.
XV)
Candidates who have studied a part of their course through Centre for Distance
Education, M.G. University, Nalgonda will not be permitted to seek admission on
transfer to the regular college under the Jurisdiction of the M.G. University.
According to the norms of the university a candidate who fails in the annual
exams of Intermediate Examination and Passed supplementary will not be eligible for
B.A./B.Com /
B.Com (Comp). PGDCA during the same academic year.

Candidates who have passed qualifying examination (10+2) / U.G. (3 years duration)
programme conducted by Board/University which are under the Jurisdictional area of
OTHER STATES shall have to obtain eligibility certificate from the Board of
Intermediate Govt. of A.P./ Director, Academic Audit, Mahatma Gandhi University to
the effect that they are eligible for admission into the University Courses.
XXII) A Student has to select only one Study Centre (from the list given at the end) and
submit the filled in Application form to the Centre Coordinator of the Study Centre
by Register Post/Speed Post/Courier/ in person on or before the dates specified in
the fee details.

Candidates who passed any Diploma Course through Polytechnic of A.P. are eligible for
admission in to B.A./B.Com./B.Com.(Comp.) - I year.

Candidate who did 10+2 or Diploma in any Course from any polytechnic other than in
A.P. shall obtain equality certificate from the Board of Intermediate, Govt. of A.P.,
Hyderabad to the effect
that they are eligible for admission in to the University Courses.

Those students who completed D.C.C.P. (Three year course) are eligible for admission
into 2nd year of B.Com/B.Com (Comp). However they have to clear the I Year English,
2nd Language Telugu, I.H.C., BOM along with 2nd year Papers.

Promotion from I year to II year and II year to III year is AUTOMATIC subject to
Registration of Exam Fee for I and II years respectively.
Hence NO SEPARATE information is sent for payment of Second / Third year fee. One need
not wait for his/her results.
Examinations:

The minimum pass marks in each paper aggregate 36% for U.G. Courses.

Examination Application forms will be sent by the centre (university) to all the eligible
students to appear for the first time Examination in each academic year.

Hall tickets will be sent to the students along with schedule well in advance of
commencement of examinations if the student fills the examination Application form as
per the instructions and send the same to the Coordinator of the respective study centre
along with a D.D. for prescribed Fee either in person or by post so as to reach before the
specified date.
f)
At the time of taking Degree certificate Identity card has to be submitted to the
examination branch.
A student after passing all the papers of I/II year completely can Improve his/her
performance in one or more papers of I/II year in the immediate next examination with a
provision to retain the better of the two results.
A Student after passing all the papers of III year Examination can improve his/her
performance by appearing for all the papers of III year in the next immediate examination and
better of the two results can be retained.
All such Students who could not use above chances during the Course of study as per the
above rules can avail the Improvement chance after completion of the course as per the
following procedure.
i)
A Student who has passed in the papers of Part I examination shall be permitted to
appear and pass for all the subjects/papers of Part I after passing the Degree
programme completely.
ii)
A Student who has passed completely in all papers of the Degree Course shall
be permitted to improve in Part II by appearing for the papers of 1st year or II year or
III year or all the papers of three years.
iii)
From the date of completion of his / her Degree, a student is permitted to appear twice
for Improvement during the period of 3 years.
iv)
The better of the two marks in aggregate secured by the student shall be taken for
the purpose of Improvement.

affixed.

Study Material
Self Instructional Material for each paper consists of about 30 lessons. This material is
normally supplied to the students in one or two installments. After payment of admission fee the
student who takes admission should collect the material in person from the study centre on the
same day. If the tuition fee is paid in installments the material will also be given accordingly.
Contact between the teacher and the taught will be provided by arranging contactcum- counseling classes for a period of 10 days (20 clock hours per paper) at the end of the
academic year and prior to the annual examinations. Students should produce their Identity
card for attending contact classes. [FOR P.G.D.C.A. COURSE, THEORY 20 CLOCK
HOURS PER PAPER AND PRACTIVALS 10 CLOCK HOURS PER PAPER].
The University/Study Centre will provide an Identity Card with Enrolment number
after the payment of admission fee. The Identity Card Enrolment number is also called the
Admission number and the Hall Ticket number for that Course.
For all communications the student must mention the Enrolment number. The Identity
card must be produced whenever demanded by the authorities, at the time of contact-cumcounselling session, examination and in Library.
If the original Identity card is lost, a duplicate card will be issued on submission of Rs.50/through D.D. in favour of Director, C.D.E., Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda and a
passport size photo (The Enrolment number will also be used in the Examination as Hall
Ticket throughout the completion of the Course).
