SYNOPSIS
Title of the project :
Mobile Store

1. Introduction
Student Profile Maintenance Module For Placement & HR contains
profile of students. The project created by using core java. The main
components used are :

Core Java as language

JDBC (Java Database Connectivity)

Java Swings

Mysql database

The project will ask user name, user password to login for both Admin and
user. Admin has facility to maintain and update the product information
and can also change his password. No one can assess any other users
profile. Administrator has right to create and delete electronics gadgets.
He can assesses profile of any user and update it as well as change his
password. Administrator can also change his own login password and
username.

2.Objective of the project :


This project will provide for computerization of a small enterprise whose
main goal is to keep track on their inventory and billing process and wants
to change from paper based transaction to computerized transaction.
The mobile store management will make storing of the stock records,
employee records, purchase information, and customer information a lot
easier. The supplier and sales information in the database will
automatically generate bills when the customer buys the mobile. The bill
history can be retrieved promptly. And reports will be generated based on
different criterias.

The product could be implemented in an average sized organization,


which will not be very keen on spending loads of money on ledgers.
Whereas our product will greatly reduce the running by using common
and cheap office items like database and desktop application. And also
there is no requirement to store books or accounts. The data is directly
stored in the database in the hard disk of the PC.

5.Structure of the project:


5.1 Proposed System:
The existing system will be replaced by the use of modern and
sophisticated computer technology. The proposed system is designed
taking into consideration all the limitations of existing manual system and
as per the user requirements. The system incorporates all the
requirements suggested by the user. It is designed in such a way that it
can hold all the information that is necessary for data storage, data
processing, and to generate various reports as per the users
requirements. It is designed in such a way to minimize all the limitation
and drawbacks of the existing system. The system is developed by using

Java as front -end and MYSQL as the back-end. Some of the important
Advantages to be considered are1.

Security as per the authentication policies is provided.

5.2 Module Description:


1. User Module:
In the user module, the user of mobile store can login the application.
User can sell the products to customers, store the customer information in
the database like address, contact number etc. User can extract the detail
of customers by simply enter their contact number. User can keep track of
the inventory of the store.
2. Administrator Module:

This is the main module in the proposed project. The administrator


can read and write information about any member. The
administrator can also update, create and delete the record of
membership as per requirement and implementation plans.

The following are the sub module in the administrator module.

Add users: Allow the administrator to register new employees and


provide them their user id and password, so that they can access the
system with particular privileges.

Delete user: Admin can delete the particular user from the system.

Inventory Management: Admin can keep track the store inventory, if


required then he/she can place the new order.

Product Entry: If new products are launched, then admin can add those
products in the system, so that store employees can sell the new products
to customer.

6. Future scope of the project:


The system could be modifies suitably to work on a large
network. This involves among others, resolving used conflicts,
protecting database conflicts, protecting database integrity and
ensuring consistency of data if it is distributed across multiple
locations.
Maintain attendance details of employees.
Send promotional emails to the users automatically.

9.Conclusion:

An attempt is made in all its earnest towards the successful


completion of the project. This system was verified with valid as well
as with invalid data
This system is user friendly since it has been developed in Netbeans
IDE a successful GUI environment. Since the connection can be
extended to any database, the control will be more powerful.
Connecting this application to any kind of database extends the
development control. Any suggestions for the future development
are welcome.
Upgrading the system can be done without affecting the overall
functionality of the application.
