The scheme of evaluation shall consist of:

The maximum marks for end of the year examinations and internal
assessment, for theory shall be 75 & 25. The maximum marks for the
end of the year examinations for the practical subjects shall be 50 and
50.

Assessment of Students
The assessment of students for each course shall be done through continuous
internal assessment and end of semester examinations. Internal assessment
shall be conducted throughout the semester.
a) Award of Internal marks for theory subjects
In respect of theory subjects, the award of internal assessment marks will be on
a continuous Evaluation Method, based on tests, assignments and attendance in
the proportion of 40%for tests, 40% for assignments and 20% for attendance as
shown below. There shall be a minimum of 3 tests and 3 assignments and all the
3 tests and assignments are considered for the award of internal assessment
marks:

Faculty concerned will maintain record of all details regarding the attendance
and Internal Assessment marks awarded, in the prescribed log book. It shall be
published in the last week of the academic year. The student can represent
their grievances, if any, in respect of marks awarded to the Principal/Head of
Institution for redressal.
The students are required to keep a record of all their practical exercises
performed in the record book. The record book has to be certified by the Senior
Instructor of the Institution. No student will be permitted to attend the Practical
examination without presenting the Bonafide record.

For practical examinations, the Principal shall appoint examiners, who will set a
question paper for conducting practical exercises. Valuation shall be done
jointly by Internal Examiners & External Examiners at the time of examination.
Minimum marks for pass
A candidate must secure a minimum of 40% (forty) marks in the end
examination, in theory and practical for a pass in each subject. There will be no
minimum for pass in the internal assessment, but the total marks for the end of
year examination and the internal assessment should not be less than 40%
(forty) for a pass in each subject.
Classification of successful candidates
A candidate will be declared to have passed the course only if he/she secured a
pass in all the theory and practical subjects, within the validity period of his/her
registration.
There shall be two classifications of passed candidates:(i)
First Class
(ii)
Second class
A candidate will be declared to have passed the course in First class if he/she
secures a pass in all the subjects, with an aggregate minimum of 60% (sixty) and
completed the apprenticeship. All the other successful candidates who have
secured below 60 % & above 40 % and have completed the apprenticeship will
be declared to have passed the course in Second class.

Prepare a drawing make estimation and costing- fabricate a shelve with two level-one door is
pivoted and the other sliding.
Make hinged door- hand rails of stair case and sit out.
Apprenticeship:
All the students may be given on the job training for six months in reputed
organizations. The apprenticeship training will be focused mainly on area
where they need more expertise. The selected firm should have the
machineries tools and tackles which is essential for an aluminium fabricator.
The students may be given hands on training in fabricating windows, doors,
hand rails and all types of rack works using aluminium sheets and frames.
