KOOBITS WINS THE INFOCOMM SINGAPORE AWARDS 2008

KooBits, an innovative ICT authoring platform developed by Personal e‐Motion Pte Ltd, was
awarded with the prestigious Infocomm Singapore Awards 2008 at the awards ceremony held
on Friday night at the spectacular National Library penthouse in Singapore.
The Infocomm Singapore Awards, which celebrates innovation and ingenuity in today’s ICT
products uncovered in Singapore, is organized by the Singapore Infocomm Technology
Federation and the Infocomm Singapore, and supported by the Infocomm Development
Authority of Singapore, the International Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Institute of
Management.
Personal e‐Motion emerged as winner in the competitive e‐Education category, earning the
credit and recognition for its effort in developing an innovative authoring platform for students
and teachers to easily create interactive animated e‐books and other multimedia content.
“We are extremely pleased and honored to be the recipient of this year’s Infocomm Singapore
Awards and we will continue the effort of developing breakthrough innovation in the area of e‐
education and interactive digital media, and making KooBits a global brand exported from
Singapore.” said Mr Stanley Han, General Manager and Co‐Founder of Personal e‐Motion,
adding “We would like to thank the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation for the
accreditation, the National University of Singapore and NUS Enterprise for their strong support
in our technology venture, and the Media Development Authority of Singapore and Interactive
Digital Media Project Office for their extensive support which was pivotal in bringing to reality
many cutting edge projects. A special mention also goes to Mr Yee Jenn Jong, CEO of ASKnLearn
Pte Ltd, for nominating KooBits for this special award and for his continuous support as our
technology partner in Singapore and ASEAN region. Special thanks also go to Mr Tham Chor Kee,
Mr Tamil Charleston, Mr Mohammad Isa, Mdm Rebecca Teo, Mr Melvin Yeoh and many other
MOE teachers for their invaluable inputs and support to bring KooBits into reality.”
Personal e‐Motion, together with other SITF awarded companies and institutes, will represent
Singapore in the international Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards which will be held in Jakarta in
November 2008, looking forward to bring recognition to Singapore as one of the leading
provider for interactive digital media, ICT tools and platform.

Founded in Nov 2003 by Prof Sam Ge, Dr Chen Xiangdong and Mr Stanley Han, Personal e‐
