Keeping Up with the

Joneses
February 2016
the care of all the churches II Corinthians 11:28b
Dear Family and Friends,
One of the responsibilities I have with Drive-In is
the care of all our ministry partnerships. To
maintain relationships with our partners and ensure
the Mobile Units are mobile and ministering longterm, regular contact is required. This is done
largely through email, but periodic visits face to
face and hands on are also necessary.
This past November I traveled back to India to visit
and work with NIEA, our primary partner in India.
David, a young friend from Colombia, S. America,
accompanied me. We spent half of our time in
Southern India in the State of Kerala where two of
our Mobile Units are located. We visited with the
staff officially in the office and enjoyed fellowship
with several of their families in homes. We took
care of Mobile Unit needs, visited the Seminary,
spoke in Chapel, and went along on a mobile movie
night. We also visited a former ministry partner
who lives an overnight train ride away.
The other half of the trip was spent in Northern
India in the State of Bihar, at the headquarters of
NIEA and home to another Mobile Unit. Bihar is the
poorest State in India and has a population of 99
million people. Because of the great needs in
Bihar, NIEA decided to put their headquarters there.
We visited their new hospital, spoke in some of
their schools, were housed in one of the childrens
homes, visited others, and observed a couple of
movie nights in different locations. With a vast
number of the people illiterate, the mobile film
ministry is very effective in communicating the
gospel. Thousands of Indians and Muslims are
attending the programs and many are coming to
Christ. (There are several pictures attached on
back)

Thanks for helping me to be able to do this

and to help mentor young men like David,
my boys, and others. They are our future
leaders, pastors, and missionaries.
Pray
that the Lord will provide special extra
support for these trips. Altogether this trip
included 10 planes, two overnight trains,
and many hours by car; but the dividends
are far greater than the difficulties.
This month we have several speaking
engagements and missions conferences in
Alabama and Florida. Hopefully, we will get
the permit needed in the next couple weeks
to begin building the pavilions and soccer
field for ministry this summer. Please keep
praying for this.
Our family is all doing well with several
birthdays this month, Joshua, Timothy (gets
to celebrate his 5th actual birth day on leap
year), granddaughters: Brynleigh & Layna.
Its hard to believe we will have a teenage
granddaughter already! We enjoyed a mini
Jones reunion luncheon with Mikes family
in Phenix City. His niece, Amy, came with
us. God is with us and we praise Him every
day!

We couldnt do this without each of you. We love you and thank the Lord daily for you.
In His service together,

Mike & AnnaMae, and family
