Description

Hand Steel is Hystoric method used to drill holes into rock. The purpose of
drilling the holes was to fill them with black powder. When detonated, the
black powder would fracture the rock into smaller pieces . This crumbled rock
is reffered as muck.Hopefully the muck contained ore, if so that ore would be
extracted from the rock during the milling process. On this game, each team
members drill into a concrete block as deep as possible

Aim (Tujuan)
To test the physical strength and teamwork of the team in the competition
with drill as deep as possible on a concrete block

Rules (included time, participants,% scores)

Each team is represented by 5 participants, each member will be given 1

minutes to drill as deep as possible
Water may be used to flush the holes while drilling

Equipment Provide

Set of drill steels

Match Procedures
Four members from each team are required to compete on this event
The committee did briefing while participants were wearing PPE such as
gloves and safety
All competitors will be required to hold the steel while it is being struck
with the hammer
Each member will be given 1 minutes to drill as deep as possible
The judge will indicate when the steel is not properly held
Water may be used to flush the holes while drilling
After the last member has finished, the team will have 30 s to flush out the
holes and remove chips.

3rd time steel not held when struck (indicated by the judge) disqualification

Terdapat 12 team yang mengikuti ISMC ini . 10 dari Indonesia dan 2 dari Korea dan Australia.

Kami mengusahakan juri berasal dari pihak perusahaan sehingga akan lebih
kompeten dan fair dalam menilai pertandingan, oleh karena itu, Kami
menawarkan bapak untuk menjadi juri dalam perlombaan Hand Steeling yang
berada dalam kategori old fashioned mine.
Pertandingan tersebut dilaksanakan pada 12-14 Februari . Tujuan dari lomba
tersebut adalah membuat lubang dengan menggunakan pahat dan palu yang
digunakan orang terdahulu untuk membuat lubang bukaan peledakan. Untuk
teknisnya berada dalam attachment.
Bila bapak tertarik akan kami buatkan surat izin untuk pihak indocement,
Kebetulan bpk birza menjadi juri dalam pertandingan swede sawing.
