About this manual
Purpose and target audience
This manual describes service works on Generation 2012 MEMMERT appliances (as of October 2012). It is intended for use by trained personnel of the owner, who have the task of
maintaining the respective appliance.
If you are asked to work on the appliance, read this manual carefully before starting. Familiarise yourself with the safety regulations. Only perform work that is described in this
manual. If there is something you do not understand, or certain information is missing, ask
your manager or contact the manufacturer. Do not do anything without authorisation.
Due to individual configurations and sizes, illustrations in this manual may be slightly different from the actual appearance. However, the procedure is always the same.
Safety regulations
Installation, repair and maintenance of Memmert appliances that require opening the appliance is only to be carried out by experienced technicians who have undergone electro

able to judge the work assigned to them and recognise possible dangers (in accordance
with DIN VDE 1000-10 and BGV A3).
Danger!
After removing covers, live parts may be exposed. Before working with
the appliance, disconnect it from the power supply (by removing the

Warning!
The appliance may still be hot. Touching these surfaces can cause
burns. Before starting work, allow the appliance to adjust to room
temperature if it has just been in use before.
Caution!
When dismantling the appliance and for work on the interior, you
could be injured on unprocessed metal edges. You should wear gloves.
