He was the one who discovered the physical law of electric kinetic resistance, known
as the The Zara Effect around the year 1930.
Gregorio Zaras magnetic and induction compass was awarded the Brevet d
invention by the Ministre de Industrie of the Kingdom of Belgium.
He invented the semi-automatic propeller making machine and the first aircraft
engine using industrial alcohol as fuel.
Gregorio Zara was also the one who invented the two-way television-telephone, a
device that permits a caller to see the picture of the party being called, and vice versa.
Gregorio Zaras other inventions are the following:
Sun stove
Solar battery
Propeller Cutting Machine
Microscope with a collapsible stage

Teslas most important contribution to energy history is the use of alternating current
(AC).
He invented the famous Tesla Coil, which is an impressive machine that transforms
energy into extremely high voltage charges, creating powerful electrical fields
capable of producing spectacular electrical arcs. Tesla Coils had very practical
applications in wireless radio technology and some medical devices.
Tesla made the first successful wireless energy transfer to power electronic devices.
He did invent how light can be harnessed and distributed.
Tesla invented the electric motor which at present are what we use to make things
work like industrial fans, household appliances, water pumps, machine tools, power
tools, disk drives, electric wristwatches and compressors.
He also experimented with X-rays, gave short-range demonstrations of radio
communication two years before Guglielmo Marconi and piloted a radio-controlled
boat around a pool in Madison Square Garden.

Importance of taking up Physics to Food technologists:

By: Angelica Evangelio

Physics is important for students taking up food technology because knowledge about it
is needed in their future workplace. Food technologists use modern physics to construct and
develop the design of complex food materials for new food products. Knowledge gained from
modern physics could improve food qualities. In order for the Food technologists to develop and
improved food products, they should have enough knowledge about the physical properties of
food materials and the physics behind it, which provides scientific principles upon which these
properties can be understood and applied.
