1. What are the 3 most important values that guide your thoughts & action?

The three most important values that guide my thoughts and action are
a) HONESTY: One should always be honest in whatever they are doing be it dealing with your
colleagues or friends, I also feel that once you lie you often get into a vicious cycle of lying to
hide the previous lie and to protect your image .Being honest in your dealings may not always
seem to be the easiest path but in the long run it will surely take you to scaling heights.
Honesty also promotes fearlessness as one knows that they have done no wrong and thus
they are guilt free.
Major organizer so I got the price discounted and could have made a significant profit but didnt
b) NEVER CHEAT: People often use unfair means to get money or to get to a better position,
by doing so one gets a temporary sense of joy as one can never be successful like this in the
long run, I also believe that one has to pay for all the sins which one commits in his present
life .If one cheats they often have to pay multiple times the benefits they have received from it.
C) RESPECT EVERYONE: One should respect all the species that re existing on this planet
from the flora and the fauna, poor to the rich and from the infants to the old. We often see that
the rich people treat the poor ones in a bad way and not even considering them humans at
times. We can judge how good a individual is by the way he treats people who are his/her
subordinates or are below him in any hierarchical order. We get the same treatment from
others as we give them and earning respect should be the primary motive of each and every
individual.

2. Have you ever adopted a non-traditional approach to manage a project/situation or to solve a

problem? Briefly describe the project/situation of the problem, the approach and the outcome.
I solved two different problems by using the same method of getting everyone to sign on a
sheet who were against the prevailing methods. In our college the boys and girls were not
allowed to wear shorts, I wrote a letter to the principal to change the rule but it got rejected so I
got the letter signed by everyone who wanted this rule to change(a sizeable number of the
students) and again submitted it to the principal, seeing the number of people wanting the
change to happen he was compelled to change the rule and allowed the students to
subsequently wear what they wanted to. A similar approach was adopted in school by me and
my friends, our football field had been shut for a long period and we didnt have any other place
to play we wrote a letter and got it signed by all those who wanted to play on the field and this
tme also the principal was obliged to open the field for the students to play.
3. What are your personal goals in life?
4. Describe a situation when you had to accomplish an objective in an ambiguous situation. What
did you do to handle the situation? What was the outcome? What were your learnings? Write
1-2 key specific learnings.
5. Mention "one" personal improvement area that you have worked upon in the last one year.
Why do you feel the above area was an improvement area for you? How did you identify the
improvement area? What did you do to improve yourself in this area? Do you think you have
achieved your objective? What makes you think so?

One area where I have worked upon in the last year is my mental strength, i.e. the ability to
stay focused, calm and composed in all the situations I face, Earlier I used to get very anxious
on the smallest of things like submitting an assignment to giving examinations, This is an
improvement area as my anxiety levels are a very low as compared to before and this has
enhanced my ability to perform better in any given circumstance , I have also realized that one
can improve his/her efficiency manifolds if they keep their mind in their control during any given
situation. To improve my concentration and reduce my anxiety I started meditating, I joined the
art of living for their basic program and I do the exercise they have mentioned us to do every
day to improve my ability to maintain my focus in the most nerve-wracking situations, I
religiously devote 20-30 minutes for meditation and also have stared jogging as they both
improve the oxygen levels in the body and the deficiency of oxygen is cited as the main reason
for anxiety . I also feel that I have not achieved my objective completely yet as I am not
completely anxiety free when I am performing tasks, I also feel that I have set very high
standards for myself and achieving those would take me more than an year and I have
completed just 7 months as of now. Joining for the advanced course of art of living could help
me achieve my objectives in the near future .
Tell us 3 things you are proud of. Substantiate your answer with solid reasoning.
