EXPLANATORY NOTES

1) 2 sets of rubrics are set out below.



2) The first set of rubrics (AB1301 Class Participation Rubrics) is for the purposes of grading class participation of each individual student. This will form 20%
of the total grades.

3) The second set of rubrics (AB1301 Class Presentation Rubrics) is intended for use only in those seminars where the tutors have incorporated
presentations by students into their seminars. The evaluation of such class presentations will be based on this second set of rubrics and will be awarded
on a group effort basis, ie the same grade will be given to all the students in that group. The marks for the class presentation will count as the relevant
students class participation marks for that week.
