Independent Fundamental Baptist Missionaries to the Philippines

I was able to fill a pulpit at a church in

Quarryville, PA. William and Joe were
able to sing a special number (Marcia
accompanied them on the piano). Thank
you for praying for us, and for partnering
with us. What a joy it is to serve the Lord
together!

Praise Reports:
Praise the Lord for a response to Gospel preaching.
A lady named Kathy raised her hand in the AM
church service to acknowledge her need of trusting
in Christ as Saviour.
Praise God that the seed of the Gospel is planted in
many hearts.
Praise the Lord two of our supporting churches
increased their financial support.
Praise the Lord for His wisdom and strength in
dealing with people. Judy showed up at church.

Soul-winning and planting the Gospel seed.

We dont always win when we go but we will never win if we
dont go. What a privilege to be able to deal with people about their souls
and present them with the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. Two teenage brothers (Michael & Jeremiah) were shoveling snow and we happened
to pass by them while making our regular Saturday bus visits. They were
very opened to the Gospel, but the timing just wasnt right. They did take a
Gospel tract. We are praying that we will see them again and take the time
to go over the plan of salvation with them. An elderly retired man (Ken)
expressed interest in an evangelistic Bible study. Pray that we would be able
to get to him before it is too late. A young man (Andrew) and an older teen
girl (Kelly) listened intently as I went through the Scriptures about how to
gain eternal life. Sadly, at the point of decision both of them mentioned
that they werent ready to trust in the Lord. Please pray that Gods Word
would do a work in their hearts and that the Holy Spirit would convict
them to a point of restlessness concerning their spiritual condition. I was
also able to spend time talking to a lady (Judy) who is a member of the Jehovahs Witnesses cult. She listened really well and for two weeks, I was
able to share with her Bible truths about the person and work of the Lord
Jesus Christ. She isnt ready to get saved but she is open to studying the
Bible. Please pray that the Lord would open the eyes of her understanding
so that she is able to see that Jesus Christ is God (the eternally begotten
Son of God and the Lover of her lost and sinful soul). I remember one of
the challenges my former pastor (Dr. Randy Starr) said when he was encouraging us to be soul-winners. He said that our going is only good when
we get to the Gospel. AMEN! Lets go, and in all our going, lets get to
sharing the precious Gospel. It truly is the power of God unto salvation!

We praise the Lord that Marcia and I were able to

be a part of the Couples Weekend at Mt. Zion
Baptist Church (our sending church). Marcia really
needed it (just kidding), we needed it.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for the sale of the house. We are waiting to
hear back from the bank if they will accept a second
offer made by the same buyer.
Pray for the church re-plant in Manheim, PA
(Heritage Baptist Church). They are now averaging
in the upper 30s, and the Lord is doing a steady and
mighty work in the hearts of both saved and
unsaved visitors.

Fairhaven Baptist College (Chesterton, IN) made available a variety of Bible courses via their YouTube channel.
I would highly recommend Dave Olsons three-part
course on How to Win a Soul under the Ministry Essentials playlist. Bro. Olson also wrote a booklet that
goes along with the video course called Soulwinning
