Summary of Usage

How do the organizations appear to be utilizing each platform?

platform to post about news/events related to organization, basic information (e.g. mission, location, contact info, link to website) (looked at all
organizations)
post about news/events related to organization and mission, link to website, post more frequently than Facebook (more activity on Twitter), can
search hashtags (e.g. #ADL) and view what followers/users are posting about the organization) (looked at all organizations)
many of the organizations had profiles but most were hardly active. In most cases, appeared to be just another webpage with the name of the
organization and a logo. (looked at all organizations)
less active than expected, can search by hashtag or username, more helpful for viewing posts about organization rather than by the organization
because many of the organizations had confusing, hard to find usernames (looked at all organizations)
platform to share video content (e.g. speeches, interviews), in some cases, organizations posted videos about current events related to the
organizations mission (looked at Jewish organizations only)
Surprisingly much more activity on Google+ than I expected. For a given users profile, you can view the number of page views and followers, as
well as public posts by the organization, photos, and posts on their YouTube channel. The posts were about news related to recent events
hosted by the organization or current events related to the organizations mission/cause (looked at Jewish organizations only)

Klout

It was easy to find major organizations on Klout (hence analysis of top FIVE Jewish Groups) but smaller organizations were not searchable. It is
also possible to search by topic or keyword, although this was only helpful if I searched a very broad topic, such as Judaism or Civil rights
