Write a thesis statement: A statement which gives your opinion or

Question: Some people believe the aim of university education is

to help graduates get better jobs. Others believe there are much
wider benefits of university education for both individuals and
society.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Improving job prospects for graduates as the sole role of university

education is supported by many people whereas others think that
society and the individuals can benefit in much broader ways other than
this. My view, however, is that the university education can offer far
more advantages.

Question: A growing number of people feel that animals should not be

exploited by people and that they should have the same rights as
humans, while others argue that humans must employ animals to
satisfy their various needs, including uses for food and research.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own
experience or knowledge.

Exploitation of animals for human needs is criticized by many people whereas

others consider it proper to use them for medical research and food. My view,
however, is that killing animals for personal welfare is completely unethical.
