Experience

Proven ability in planning, producing and delivering compliant proposals within

a complex business environment. The Proposal Manager will be experienced in sche
duling and running proposal kick-off meetings, leading storyboarding sessions, f
acilitating key review meetings / final document review, co-ordinating proposal
governance / sign off, document production and delivery of the completed proposa
l. Typically will have experience of coordinating and updating a Content Managem
ent System.
Core Responsibilities
Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer def
ined timeframes
Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders,
typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance,
commercial, legal and delivery
Communicate and influence at a senior level
Ability to coach sales teams and subject matter experts in persuasive writin
g and proposal best practice
Proposal automation software (or similar) experience
Document template management in line with company branding
Strong time management / prioritisation skills
Strong written English language skills
Excellent attention to detail.

The Senior Proposal Specialist will ensure accurate estimates of the total cost
of allocated projects are completed on time, and in accordance with required com
pany procedure & standards.
Prepare technical proposal & cost estimation for tender projects.
Estimate project quantities and costs in the preparation of major tenders in
a timely and cost effective basis.
Review estimate inputs from functional department and supervise the preparat
ion of cost reports and price forms.
Monitors current competitive prices, new techniques and cost trends.
Provides technical inputs, as a team leader at project level to ensure timel
y completion of estimates.
Assist the Sales Engineer or Sales Manager on technical matters & costing ma
tters during the process of securing the contracts.
To attend the technical meeting with clients during the tendering process.
Able to plan, prepare, coordinate and to consolidate all estimating activiti
es.
Strong analytical capability and attention to detail within calculations, ch
ecking and summarizing.
Ability to interpret engineering documentation such as drawings, specificati
ons, scope of works, etc.
Ability to plan, to set goals and pro-actively follow-up to achieve targets

and objectives

trols environment, knowledge of DCS, Safety systems, SCADA, or PLC systems, good
knowledge in process automation will be considered.
