PRIVATE COMPLAINANT
I, Bea Alonzo-Dela Cruz, of legal age, married, and living at Brgy. Tabuc Suba, Jaro, Iloilo
City, private complainant in this case, state under oath as follows:
PRELIMINARY STATEMENT
The person examining me is Atty. Salvador Alba II with address at Gen. Luna St., Iloilo City.
The examination is being held at the same address. I am answering his questions fully conscious
that I do so under oath and may face criminal liability for false testimony and perjury.
PURPOSE: This affidavit/testimony of Bea Alonzo-Dela Cruz, private complainant is being
offered to prove that the accused John Lloyd Dela Cruz contracted marriage twice, a civil
wedding with private complainant on December 20, 2015, and later with Angelica Manzano on
December 21, 2015 while the respondents previous marriage with private complainant was still
valid and has not yet legally dissolved.

What was the status of the marriage between you and the accused when Angelica
Manzano got married to the accused?
A.

His marriage with me was still valid and has not yet been legally dissolved when
he married the latter.

1. I was the one who conducted the examination of witness Bea Alonzo-Dela Cruz at
my aforementioned office in General Luna St., Iloilo City;
2. I have faithfully recorded or caused to be recorded the questions I asked and the
corresponding answer that the witness gave;
3. I nor any other person then present or assisting her coached the witness regarding her
answers;
