IfirstfoundoutaboutthisswaphereonAcurazineacoupleyearsago.Atthetimetherewasnotasmuchinformationon
hereasthereisnow,soittookquiteabitofresearchtodiguptheinformationIneededtoequipmyselfwithtodothisjob.
However,Ididmanagetofindeverythingneeded,andrealized,thisonlysoundsmoreintimidatingthanitreallyis!
SoIbitthebulletandgoteverythingIneededtodoit,asthe03TLI'justbought'hadablowntrans,andIwanteditfixed
RIGHT!
Ididtheswap,anditworkedperfectly!
I'vebeengettingalotofquestionsoverthelastcoupleyearsonhowtodothisjob,andoverthelastcoupleyearsIhave
done6swapsforpeople,allofwhichweresuccessful!

REQUIREMENTS
First,thisonlyboltsontoa0003TL,the99hasa4speedtransandtotallydifferentwiringharnessesandECU.*IF*you
wantedittoworkona99,youwouldhavetochangeouttheengine/transwiringharnesses,dashboardharnessesandECU.....
Atthatpointyoumayaswellswapina6mtfornegligiblymore$$$.
Second,TheAV6transyouwillneedtosourceisfromthe0607v63.0Accord,coupeorsedandoesnotmatter,justmake
REALsurethetransisa5atfroma3.0v6!
Third,geteverythingyouneedfortheswapinadvance!Itmakesitalotlessbrutalwhenyoudon'thavetosourceapartor
gasketinthemiddleofthejob!

FIRSTThetransharnessfromtheAV6transwillnotwork,ithasadifferentconnectortotieintotheengineharness,you
havetousetheonefromtheTLthisharnessconnectstothetranstempsensorandclutchpressureswitch.
