To all Christians: Be Warned on the so called Alternative Medicine

Subject: Counterfeit Miracle Healing of Nuga Best

Im Albert de Mesa of Laguna, I just want to share my personal experienced and the things I
found out behind the miracle healing of Nuga Best ( See the attached flyer). It is because of my
ailment that I want to try other alternative medicine for my healing. In the so called Nuga Best
House I saw a lot of people present and many of them perceived the bed was a miracle bed.
Indeed, for more than three weeks I have been there, I saw and heard a lot of testimonies told
were healed of their ailments such as stroke, cancer, hypertension, diabetes, goiter, chronic
pain etc.
On my first try of the treatment on that bed I felt relaxed and energized afterward, I said to
myself wow ang sarap pala, it seems I finally found a perfect remedy and its free. I returned
the next day and on my second trial, I was so eager to come back again. Then for two weeks I
became a member and they gave me a membership card which is also an attendance card.
In three weeks of treatment, I have observed three unusual things:

The word chi

On the first day I was welcome to the front of the stage and ask by the host to introduce myself.
Then the host asks all members to point their two pointing fingers toward the first timer and
chant three times the words nuga best chi.

The prayer

Opening of the house is 9am in the morning and before the treatment begins there are some
warm up dance exercise and then prayer. I notice that in prayer they not confess the name of
Jesus at the end of prayer. They would say at the end of prayer like, sa pangalan mo
panginoon, amen, sa matamis mong pangalan, amen. It is important to confess the name of
Jesus because there is power in the name of Jesus! . But in their case there is no Jesus.

The bow

Deep inside of me I know there is something wrong about on the two things Ive already
observed. But because of the overwhelming relief (it was so good) brought by that kind of bed, I
ignored and continue to go on. Then on my third week I saw something strange made by the
staff. They are bowing their head, at first I thought was in their boss- the owner of Nuga Best.
But when I saw it becomes repeatedly and when I turn to look whom they bow, to my surprise
there is no one inside of the office. My chest begun to pound and became more convinced
that there is something really not right. I saw the staff when going in the office they

immediately walk outside. They will stand at the door, turn about face and bow. There are five
staff and three of them bows twice.
When I got home I felt something cold from my feet going up all over my body and for three
days I search the internet to find out the real truth behind the miracle bed of Nuga Best.

Based on what I heard and saw from the Nuga Best House and learned from the internet here
are the truth that must be exposed:

The so called miracle bed and other devices are only a point of contact wherein the
power to heal they claimed have a scientific explanation. But behind it, is a trade secret
unacceptable and not conforms to the Christian worldview.

The word chi (energy, force) is a belief that originates from the religion Taoism.

In the Nuga Best House they have a set of appointed date wherein they do some form of
ritual to make the chi stronger thus making the miracle bed to become powerful to
heal.

Nuga Best House is the modern version of Dr. Quack (Albularyo, Faith Healer).
Counterfeit healing is in the form of technology. A technology mix with ancient pagan
beliefs and practices.

There are various devices many members have already bought such as the so called
Tourmanium Belt cost 17,000 pesos. Miracle bed the main product cost 139.000 pesos
which wealthy client had bought and even some Christian did. However, when you buy
those things specially the bed you will find out later that is has no healing effect at all for
any sickness and diseases.

Jade stone is the major components of the Bed, it was use in ancient times for
mystical healing. It was use in feng-shui and widely use in occult practices of eastern
religion until today.

There are stages of healing in the Nuga Best House. Straight 10 days, then straight 120
days. It is said to be the stages where a client will experience healing reactions and
detoxification respectively. Then straight 10 years for maintenance of good health.
Actually there is healing but when you failed to maintain, ailment will return.

Nuga Best is a soul snatcher and devourer. The member who follows the stages of
healing is like a frog in the pot. There are cases where the client experienced healing
in a month and stop the stages of healing had died.

DOH doesnt approve it but some doctors (also Pastors) refer the patient to the Nuga
Best House.

All believers in Christ must stay away from that house, the miracle healing takes place
involves a practice of occult which seems harmless and beneficial.. Dont dare to try, it is
a dangerous alternative medicine.

When I learned the truth about Nuga Best I became desperate again for the remedy of my
ailment. I then ask God what is the best alternative besides going to a professional medical
doctor and taking a prescribe medicine. Praise God! There is a practically available alternative
medicine anyone can take.
It said so in the Bible. Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart does good, like medicine. To have a
merry heart a believer in Christ must Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give
thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. I Thess 5:16-18. Thanks be to God! Im
now on my way to recovery.

Question: "Is the idea of chi compatible with the Christian faith?"
Answer: Chi (also spelled chi or qi) can be defined as the energy force that gives life to all
things. The idea of chi comes from Taoism, which teaches that there are spiritual and health
benefits to developing and strengthening ones inner chi. This is done through meditation,
exercise, and other techniques. Traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and some martial
arts like Tai Chi have an ultimate purpose of balancing and enhancing ones chi on physical,
mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.
By definition alone, the idea of chi is not compatible with the Christian faith. A foundational
doctrine of Christianity is that God created all things through Jesus (see Genesis 1:1 and John
1:14). It is God who gives life, and by God, through Jesus, all things are sustained (see Psalm
147:9 and Colossians 1:1617).
Some may argue that chi is just a different term for the life that God breathed into Adam
(Genesis 2:7). But we cant transplant the term chi into the Christian faith because the
philosophy behind chi (Taoism) is also incompatible with Christianity. For example, the Taoist
view of God is that each person has his or her own definition of what god is, and each
definition is perfectly acceptableneither right nor wrong. In the Christian faith, God is not
defined by peoples perceptions. Rather, He reveals who He is to us (see Jeremiah 29:1314).
While God is infinite and beyond full human understanding, He has revealed certain things
about Himself and is able to be known personally. In Christianity, Jesus Christ is the only way to
a real relationship with God (see John 14:57).
The idea of chi cannot be separated from the spiritual realm. When one engages with the
spiritual realm, he or she will either encounter God or the demonic. In the Old Testament, God
forbade Israel to engage in certainoccult practices. This was for their own protection; the
forbidden practices would have put them in contact with demonic forces (see Deuteronomy
18:913).
Seemingly innocent practices, like trying to balance or strengthen ones chi, may in fact produce
some perceived benefitsor at least no bad effectsbut if those practices are not in line
with a biblical worldview, then they are to be avoided. Chi is a counterfeit of the kind of life
offered by Christ (see John 10:10).

DOH: No evidence Nugabest devices

work
By Sheila Crisostomo | Updated June 13, 2011 - 12:00am

MANILA, Philippines - Health Secretary Enrique Ona has ordered Nugabest Philippines to stop using
fraudulent, deceptive and misleading claims to promote its health devices.
In an advisory released over the weekend, Ona said Nugabest (also known as GTB Best Trading Inc.) is
unable to submit scientific evidence supporting their claims.
He said Nugabest disseminates flyers claiming that its devices align the spine, boosts the immune system,
control blood sugar levels and strengthen internal organs.
The products are also being marketed as being good for hemorrhoids, hernia, urinary tract infection, menstrual
problem, infertility, ovarian cysts and myoma, weak lungs, asthma, prostate enlargement, arthritis and joint
pain.
The DOH has determined that Nugabest... has been offering free treatment using its health products, subject
to the condition that the person signs a document waiving the liability of the company for any injury or harm
suffered from the use of the Nugabest product, Ona said.
The DOH had earlier issued a cease and desist order to stop the company from disseminating false and
misleading advertisements. But to date, the agency has not received notice of full compliance from the firm.

Ona advised the public to avoid the use of Nugabest products and to beware of devices or technologies
offering free trials, specially if the company requires consumers to sign a waiver.
He said the DOH seeks to ensure that only licensed and appropriately trained physicians are supervising the
use of any medicine or health-related devices.
