PREFACE
Every student of Bachelor in Business Administration at UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
AND SCIENCE

has an essential requirement to do Six weeks internship in any of the well reputed

organization. The purpose of this program is to acquaint the students with practical applications of
theoretical concepts taught to them during conduct of their BBA program.
The internship in INTELLIGENT IMAGE MANAGEMANT is personally arranged by my own resources and
the department gave me a letter for getting this internship.
Really, it was a nice opportunity to have a close comparison of theoretical concept in practical field,
involving the use of primary and secondary data. This Report may depict deficiencies on my part but
still it is an output of a student efforts, for which I beg pardon.
The out put of my analysis is summarized in a shape of Internship the contents of the report Shows the
detail of sequence of these. The report is concluded with problem and suggestions.

this internship report. Then to say that I could not be able to complete this report without

of my internship program xyz.
I am very much pleased to offer my thanks and gratitude to the HRD of Intelligent image
media Ltd. For giving me the opportunity to work with the Institute in its DOHS office
Banani. I would like to give thanks to name of (Manager), Mohammed Asif (senior
officer),Ali ashraf (Relationship manager), of DOHS office to help me throughout my
internship program.
Very special thanks to our manage and other staf.
I also give a special thanks to all the personnel of DOHS office of Intelligent image
media Ltd for helping me to collect data.

Executive Summary:
As we all know very well that time and tide wait for none. So, because of this rapid
change in time and era we have to cope with it. During this era I got an
opportunity of getting practical knowledge about the Banking system in Pakistan.
So to quench the thirst of practical exposure and for getting the basic knowledge
about a IT farm. During six week in IIM I gather all necessary information about IIM.
Efforts have been made to compile this report in such a way that activates its
salient features not only for students but also for the layman. I have divided this
report into different Chapters.
First Chapter is about introduction OF IIM. Second Chapter is about General
Banking Department gives us description about how to open an account, how to
deposit and clearing. Third Chapter discusses the procedure of customer dealing

and satisfaction fourth Chapter is about the branch where I worked and watch
different function which I learned in HBL Preedy Gate Bannu.
Fifth Chapter is about the procedure of getting different type of loans and advances. Sixth Chapter is
gust of knowledge acquired by me. Chapter seven is about SWOT ANALYSIS of HBL. Chapter Eight
tells about my knowledge because here I gave different type of Recommendation to different problems.
At last I must say that this text is designed to stimulate the curiosity about management practices of
HABIB BANK Ltd of Pakistan. And to raise readers consciousness about the banking system working
in Pakistan and out side the Pakistan.

EXPORT ORDER EXECUTION

Inquiry by Customer:
Customer inquiries are received via fax and E-mail. Inquiries that comes through Fax are
directly received at fax room and sent to CEO as well as concerned department, however
inquires through e-mail are directly received in concerned dept.

Costing Sheet:
After receiving inquiry from customer first of all costing sheet is prepared for price
determination. CEO is final authority to finalize the price to be quote against any inquiry,
however in absence of CEO export dept. incharge reviews price idea. If both are not
available, then sectional incharge is allowed/authorized to quote price.
After approval of price and review of customer's requirements, prices are quoted to customer
for confirmation. Upon confirmation, sales contract is issued to customer with complete details
of constructions, width/size, prices, quantity, delivery, payment terms etc.

Contract Review & Issue:


Sectional incharge takes following steps before issuing a contract:

1. Complete review of the contract


2. Whether requirements are adequately defined.
3. If have the capability to meet the order requirements/ Shipment date

Purchase Orders:
Purchase orders are received from customer pertaining to contract booked. Sectional
incharge studies it for any discrepancy or any special instruction. If there is any discrepancy
it is brought into the knowledge of customer for amendment. However, if customer wants to
amend the contract booked, after considering all the aspects of the order it is amended.
Instructions of amendments are passed to relevant departments to follow.

Greige Demand:
1. To Export Sale (ES) section for any new order.
2. To production planning & co-ordination (PPC) section. They are responsible to co-ordinate
between export & processing dept.
3. To stock management for updating stock position within the mills.
