PROJECTS:
DJ TURNTABLES/MIXER
 Built a DJ Controller with built-in MP3 playback, SD card interface and DSP effects.
 Major components were the 32-bit Atmel AT32UC3A3256 MCU and the Blackfin ADSP/BF533 DSP.
 Created the user interface, MP3 decoder and I2S emulator using the MCU’s SSC module.
 As Team leader for this project I was responsible for the division of responsibilities between the
various members and making sure that our projects deadlines are met.

Multicore Processor
 Implemented a multi-core pipe-lined processor with 2-caches to carry out MIPS instruction set

Microcontroller Project: Dactyl l (iPhone Game)

 Developed a game called dactyll using the Motorola HC12 microcontroller.
 Project deliverables included software development (assembly) and product packaging.
 Map Routing
 Created a map-routing program using the Djikstra’s Shortest Path Algorithm for weighted undirected
paths.

Image Coprocessor
 Design of ASIC chip which implements the canny edge detection algorithm.
 Created the RCU and SRAM blocks of the design.

IRC GUI
 Created the GUI for an IRC client using python.
 Implemented the total functionality of an IRC client.

File Compression
 Implemented a file compression program using the Huffman compression Algorithm.
 Achieved Compression Ratios greater than 50%.
