Corporate Identity/Branding
Here is an unconventional book dedicated to El Lissitzky, a dynamic graphic
designer, architect, and fine artist in search of space and depth within the planar
structure of the page. Each printed page is atypically mounted upon laser cut
balsa wood (conventionally used for architectural models) in order to give the
book physical depth. The relationships created between geometric objects and
typography create an ambiguous space for the viewer to reside in and consider.

Book and Set of 3 Mailers

This is a collection of poems inspired by the title poem

“On Resurrection Wings”, written by my grandmother
Mary Virginia Cox. On Resurrection Wings is a collection
of inspirational poems by various authors whose words
realize a sense of transformation on a physical, spiritual,
and/or philosophical level. This collection as a whole
reflects the idea and/or process of change from introvert
to extrovert and should communicate that this change
or any change can be a positive influence.

STUDENT BOOK DESIGN & COLLATERAL {SENIOR PROJECT} • On Resurrection Wings

Book Jacket [8in. x 8in.]
The spreads from the book contain original imagery and photography, and the
use of boxed images verses freed images demonstrate the conflict between
introvert and extrovert throughout the pages of the book. As a result, a unique
rhythm establishes as well as a sense of freedom and resolution at the closing
of the collection.

Formal Wedding Invitation
For this invitation I used a pearlized stock and
2 colors to print. My goal was to create a simple
and elegent design that would remain classic
over time. A customized Wedding Monogram
also embellishes the stationery throughout.

Branding • Lindell Wedding

Formal Wedding Invitation
Using just ivory stock and one color printing, this invitation
is contemporary, yet timeless. A customized script monogram
was designed for this stationery, and in place of retailer cards,
a vellum insert was created to detail where the Bride and
Groom registered. The Save the Date mailer is less formal but
contains design elements and chosen colors that were included
throughout the entire event.

Handouts and Tip Cards like these are frequently used to
promote in-store products at national beauty events organized
by Cosmetic Promotions, Inc. Some of the retailers in contract
with this locally grown marketing company include Sears,
Rite-Aid and Walgreens. Many times the main challenge with
collateral like this is the blending of different brands into one
promotion, using the retailer as the common factor to retain
a uniform look throughout an event.

CORPORATE IDENTITY • Racer’s Edge

Stationery Suite
Racer’s Edge is a new GPS mini-chip
technology that will allow you to train
harder and run smarter. Developed for the
long distance runner extraordinaire, this
technology will allow you to pre-program
whatever desired pace you wish to train
and then give a complete synapses of each
workout, which would include fluctuation
in pace and terrain. This identity for
Racer’s Edge embraces movement, speed,
and technology by referencing the human
form in stride with digital imagery.

This SEC monument is designed to be a
traveling trophy. When a new Conference
Track & Field Champion is determined,
the monument disassembles with ease,
personalized and reconstructed on the
Nighttime Rendering – campus home of the new champions
located on a commons area at the center of campus each year. A couple unique features of this
structure include the ability to be ascended
(with enough room for just one person
to stand at its apex), as well as a spotlight
glow from within each plexiglass tier, giving
the piece a strong but beautiful presence
during evening and early morning hours.

Some details of the championship monument—recognition of the year and conference title information, including
coaches’ and athletes’ names and sponsorships, to be engraved onto the plexiglass floor of the sculpture’s first tier.
Hollow metal tubing support the structure, frame its shape and give avenue for the electrical wiring needed to light
the monument during dark hours. Lastly, the railing resembles the championship runners as they are in form during
competition, and the 8 tiers that spiral upward signify the 8 lanes of competition for any track event; the lanes ascend
in height just as every runner crosses the finish line, first to last. Only one champion stands above all —he is on top.
