SPRING 2016 IRISH CLINIC

When: March 22nd- May 13

Who: Boys in Grades 4-8
Games: Each team is guaranteed 12 games over the course
of the season and all games are played within Bergen
County.
Practice: Each team will have 1-2 hours of practice per
week divided up between skill development and team
building concepts.
Where: Tues, Wed or Thurs at GW Middle School
Cost: $525 which includes cost of all games, gym time,
uniform and shooting shirt

Coach Troy and his staff are offering a beginners

clinic that would practice once a week and work on
building fundamental skills necessary to compete in
games. If your son is not yet ready for the rigors of
a competitive season, but loves basketball, this
would be the place for him. The skills developed
during this clinic will be transitioned to competition
thru small game structures (3 vs. 3) to help bring
better understanding of the game both offensively
and defensively. Register with RCS for this course.

SPRING 2016 AAU IRISH SEASON

The Ridgewood Irish is headed by the Ridgewood Boys

Varsity Coach Mike Troy and members of his staff. The
Ridgewood Irish League is open to boys in grades 4-8.
Registration is done on a first come, first serve basis, but if
there are enough players, teams will be added. The mission
of this program is to help prepare and develop players for
competitive basketball in high school. The Ridgewood
Irish program provides opportunity for athletes to improve
their skills however this is not a prerequisite to play high
school basketball nor does it guarantee a future roster spot
at the high school level.

For the Spring 2016 AAU program please register with the
Ridgewood Community School. For league only, please
indicate uniform size. We have sizes Youth Medium
through Adult XL. Please email Coach Mike Troy at

be made payable to Ridgewood Community
School. Tuition includes a non-refundable $25
registration fee. If you need to withdraw your
child from the class, you must submit your
request in writing by 4 pm on Monday, Mar
14. If you do so, the tuition will be returned
less the $25 registration fee.
