Aspects:
Battlekravter Aspects
If a character is a Battlekravter or has been schooled in weaponizing Manakravte
since a very young age, they should have an aspect reflecting this. For Example:
Ritona has the aspect Battlekravter Prodigy, reflecting her superb proficiency in
the arts given her age. It is recommended that some sort of descriptor is attached
to Battlekravter, such as Novice Battlekravter, Reluctant Battlekravter, Nervous
Battlekravter, etc. Remember that a good aspect is one that can be both tagged
and compelled against you.
Battlekravter Aspects may be tagged to reduce the Focus Round of Manakravter
actions by 1. (See Manakravter Actions)

Troubled Identity Aspect


Having a Troubled Identity is a central theme in Faults universe. Each character is
only a fraction of themselves, yet strangely whole.
Characters with a Troubled Identity Aspect Increase their Refresh Rating by 1.
When Troubled Identity Aspects are compelled, a single die is rolled. If a + is the
result, the player may decide a new (temporary) High Concept Aspect for them. If a
the GM assigns them a new High Concept Aspect. If it is blank, nothing
additional happens. The player may decide whether the new High Concept Aspect
remains for either a scene, a session, or a scenario.
A description should explain the details of this transition. Is it willful? How does the
character change personalities? How have they been affected by it in the past?
A character can replace their Troubled Identity Aspect with a normal Trouble Aspect
at the cost of 1 XP point. This new Trouble Aspect should reflect how the character
resolved their Troubled Identity Aspect. A character may also acquire a Troubled
Identity Aspect inbetween sessions.

Stunts:
Manakravter Stunts
Manakravter stunts are stunts that are a part of the Manakravter stunt family (see
pg. 94). Each Manakrater Stunt gives them access to a specific set of actions.
Manakravter stunts can be stacked (see Stacking Effects) increasing a characters
proficiency with their kravte or granting them a new type of kravte. Whenever a
Manakravter stunt is stacked, the character gains a free action with 1 Focus Round
that may not be stacked. This free action usually pertains to

There are 4 different types of Mannkravting, Pyro, Terra, Aero, and Aqua. Whenever
a Manakravter stunt is purchased, the player must specify which type of
Manakravter they are. Characters with more than one type of Manakravting are
referred to as Dualkravters, Trikravters, and Quadkravters. It is

encouraged that the player describe their kravter title pertaining to their types of
Manakravting. For Example, Ritona is a Dualkravter of Pyro and Terra- making her a
Glasskravter. While Ritona is the only Dualkravter we know of, (and thus
Glasskravter the only official Dualkravter title) the player should invent new titles
for composite Manakravters. Examples are provided below.

When developing the abilities of each type of Mana, it is encouraged that the
players consult the magic section of FATE Core, page 288.
Using the Manakravter stunt to perform an action that is not listed under the
Manakravter Actions requires a minimum of 1 Focus Round, as negotiated with the
GM.

Manakravter Actions
Actions derivative under a Manakravter Stunt require a number of Focus Rounds
relative to the strength of the action. Each Manakravter action has one 1 Focus
Round*, but when the Action is purchased the player may add more Focus Rounds
to increase the strength of these actions, up to a maximum of 4. For each Focus
Round added, the character can increase the effectiveness of that action. This
should be handled like stacking a stunt, with each Focus Round equivalent to a
single stunt.
An action must have a minimum of 1 Focus Round, in which the character may not
act (but may move and speak normally). Additional Focus Rounds may be added to
count as stacking the action (pg. 94). Check with you GM for approval if youre
adding more than 4 Focus Rounds to an Action.
Manakravters may take an opposed Empathy skill to detect if another Manakravter
is taking a Focus Round. If they succeed, they also learn the details of the kravte.

If a character has a Battlekravter Aspect, they can spend a Fate Point to reduce
the Focus Round of an action by 1. Some Manaline Setting Aspects may also be
tagged to reduce the Focus Round of an action by 1. Spending Fate Points cannot
reduce the Actions Focus Round requirement below 1.
*Unless the character is Mharie- her Manakravter Actions require no Focus Rounds.
Her actions are activated immediately.

Setting
The setting of Fault is unique. Unfortunately, the majority of the setting has not
been revealed to us or defined in a larger way. As a result, players should be
inventive in their interpretation of the universe and should not be afraid to tread
upon spaces which have not been defined in the canon. Fault is a fantasy in the best
way- so make it your own kind of fantastic.
Setting Aspects are a great way to do this, enabling locations to be clearly defined
from each other. This is also great for drawing out many of Faults themes, including
its emphasis upon social inequality. The following list of setting aspects is simply a
guide- GMs are encouraged to create their own.

Identity Aspect, she may replace substitute Rapport for any Fight tests.
