The Alcatel-Lucent 1625 LambdaXtreme™ is a long-haul, high-capacity, backbone DWDM transport solution.
This single platform supports 10G tunable transponders and 40G tunable transponders with features such
as auto-discovery, power optimization and channel equalization. These features support class-leading reach
without regeneration. The use of common parts plus a modular, scalable design means that initial CAPEX and
upgrade costs are contained. Minimal setup and provisioning times expedite scaling to support new customer
services as demand for bandwidth increases.
