EASTER SERVICES a yellow leaflet will be available from NEXT weekend which gives details
of all the Easter Service times. Please take home a copy.
EASTER RAFFLE We will be selling raffle tickets after each Mass from
this
weekend until Easter to raise funds for the Parish. Prizes as follows : 1st Prize Simnel cake.
2nd Prize - Easter egg. 3rd Prize : Bottle of Prosecco and chocolates.
DECEASED Please pray for Gladys Diver RIP who died recently, her Requiem Mass will be in
St Andrews on Tuesday, 22nd March at 11.30am, followed by committal at Slough
Crematorium. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen

MASS CHANGE Due to the St Patrick's Celebration, there will be no evening Mass at
Gilbert's on Friday, 18th March. Mass will instead be at Our Lady of Peace at 9.30am.

ST BERNARDS PREPARATORY SCHOOL Experienced KS1/KS2 Class Teacher required for

DATES FOR YOUR DIARIES
CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE The next meeting of the CWL will be their Annual General
Meeting and will be held on Monday, 7th March in the Sacristy of Our Lady of Peace Church at
2.00pm.
OUR LADY OF PEACE JUNIOR SCHOOL children will be celebrating the Stations of the Cross in
Our Lady of Peace Church on Tuesday, 8th, Thursday, 10th, Tuesday, 15th, Thursday, 17 th and
Tuesday, 22nd March at 1.00pm. You are all invited to join the children.

CONFIRMATION PROGRAM For those who have enrolled for the


Sacrament of Confirmation, The second Session will be on Tuesday, 8th
March from 7.00pm to 8.00pm and will be held in ST ANDREWS The
Enrolment Mass will be on Sunday, 13th March at 9.45am Mass. The
Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred by Bishop Peter this year on
Tuesday, 21st June at 7.30pm in Our Lady of Peace.
CHURCH CLEANING Saturday, 12th March at 9.00am. Please try and spare an hour to help.
ST PATRICK'S EVENING at St Andrews on Friday, 18th March from 6.30pm.
Celebrate an evening with a traditional Irish Supper of bacon and cabbage,
Irish Bingo, a raffle and music, complete with a licensed bar. Tickets on sale
at all Masses, priced 10 for adults, children under 10 free, over 10 10. The
proceeds of this event will be shared equally between Our Lady of Peace and
St Andrew's. If you would like to donate a prize for the raffle please leave in
the Presbytery or the Sacristy for Yvonne.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION The next session is on Saturday, 19th March
from 9.30am 11.00am at ST ANDREWS CHURCH. When you are next
in Our Lady of Peace Church please take time to see the poster the children
have prepared which asks the Parish to pray for them. Please continue to
pray for our children so that they will grow in their appreciation of the
sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion.
YOUNG ADULTS Jimmy Mitchell will be leading a day for Young Adults at the Bridgettine
Convent in Iver Heath on Saturday 19th March starting at 11.00am to 5.00pm. The cost of the
day is 5. Lunch will be included. We hope this day will be a great opportunity for young adults
18-35ish to gather and be formed in their faith and share experiences together. For more info,

A DATE FOR THE LANDINGS WORKSHOP After an encouraging response to the
announcement of a Landings workshop, a date has now been set: March 19th at St. Teresas
Beaconsfield. We aim to start at 10.00am and finish between 1.00pm-1.30pm with a midmorning break for refreshments. The object is to demonstrate the power of the Landings process
and how it helps returning Catholics. All welcome - potential returners or welcomers alike, or
those simply interested in recommending Landings to others. No commitment will be asked for
but, if you are thinking of attending, please phone or e-mail so we can gauge numbers. Speak to

LENTEN RECONCILIATION SERVICE : Our Lady of Peace :
Monday, 21st March at 7.00pm with visiting confessors
ST VINCENT DE PAUL meet at 2.00pm on Tuesday, 22nd March in the Sacristy at Our Lady of
Peace. New members would be welcome. If you know of anyone who would like a visit from the
SVP please advise Yvonne.
