1. Introduction
Introduction

You’re having a party at your house! How exciting!! Your

friends will not want to miss this chance to pamper themselves,
and you’re going to get FREE products!!

This packet contains information and guidelines to help you get

the most out of your party. If you have any questions, please
contact your consultant.

2. What you can expect from

the Consultant
Consultant
At your Pamper Yourself Party, your Young Living Consultant will provide a Mini-Class,
Fun Activities, Product Samples, a Raffle, Incentives, and Promotions.

The mini-class will include instruction and hands-on demonstrations on how to

properly use essential oils. You and your friends will be given the opportunity to
inhale, apply, and taste the Young Living therapeutic-grade essential oils.

Please note that the consultant will not be giving medical advice. The information
provided to the attendees is not intended as a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis,
or treatment provided by a qualified healthcare professional. Any statements in regards
to dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not meant to
diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The consultant will arrive approximately 30-60 early to set up for the party. A diffuser
will be turned on to provide aromatherapy for all to enjoy. Other preparations or
additional instructions will be done at this time.

3. General Party Outline
This is a brief outline to give you an idea of what will happen at your Pamper Yourself
Party. Your party may vary slightly, depending on the needs of the group.

Pre-Party
30-60 minutes prior to the party: Consultant arrives, sets up, & gives instructions.
Consultant provides washcloths to the Hostess. Lemon-water is prepared.
As Party Starts: Attendees Sign in and get Pen & Paper.

Pamper Yourself Party

Hostess introduces Consultant (script) then joins the group
Consultant Gives Party –Education, Demonstrations, and Activities
• Introduction to Essential Oils & Young Living
(Hostess Passes out handouts - Systems Page & Vita Flex Chart)
• Introduction to the 11 Body Systems, & Vita Flex Technique
(Hostess Passes out wet washcloths, Everyone washes feet, Hostess collects cloths)
• Application of Essential Oils to feet of all attendees, hostess, & consultant
(Hostess Passes out lemon-water to everyone)
• Guided Relaxation, Breathing, & Meditation Techniques
• Explanation of Price options
Hostess Passes out Packet (Order form, Info Sheets, Price List, Raffle Form)
Consultant Thanks Hostess & Gives Gift.
Hostess collects Forms & then selects Raffle Winner
Consultant ends Party

Post-Party
Refreshments in Kitchen.
Discussions with clients, if applicable.
Clean-Up

4. What is requested from
the Hostess
You will need to provide a place for the party. It is best if the setting be kept
comfortable and relaxed. Children under 5 are allowed to accompany their mothers.
Feel free to have a space available for them to play. Attendees will be taking their shoes
off at the door and will need a place to put them.

You will need to invite people to your party. These people could include family
members, friends, co-workers, neighbors, church members, and many others. It is best
when a party has at least 8 – 10 people. However, the minimum requirement is 3
confirmed attendees who have never been to a Pamper Yourself Party and are not already
a member of Young Living. A general rule of thumb is to invite 7 for every 1 you want
present. People always forget, so a reminder phone call a day or two beforehand will
really help your numbers.

Edification is critical to the success of your party. Edification means saying positive
things (that are true). Your friends and family members trust you. So when you edify
the consultant they will be more likely to listen to and respect the consultant as the
expert they are. This leads to better results for your party. Edification starts while you
are inviting your friends and continues when they arrive at the party. The consultant,
in turn, will edify you. Edification can be really simple, such as: “She is such a
wonderful person…”; “We are so lucky to have her coming to teach us!”; “She is so
knowledgeable.”; “She is so much fun.”; “She cares so much about helping others.”
Have fun with it – it’s all about positive reinforcement.

You are to assist the consultant as needed to make sure everything goes smoothly. This
includes, but is not limited to: making sure the attendees sign in and take off their
shoes, having pens available, passing out papers, handing out and collecting wet
washcloths, passing out glasses of lemon-water, passing out the packets at the end,
collecting the forms, and selecting the winner of the raffle.

To start the party, you will welcome everyone and then introduce the consultant. There
is a short script for you to read. Feel free to say it in your own words. Understand
that the consultant will also be using a script.

When the party is over the attendees will be excused to the kitchen, or eating area, to
enjoy some light refreshments. You could provide a vegetable tray, a fruit tray, cheese
& crackers, or any other light snack. A drink should also be provided – purified water
with lemon oil is a great choice.

5. What
What the Hostess Receives
You will receive incentives based on the PV volume of the party, including outside
orders collected up to 7 days after the party. PV is the point value attached to each
Young Living product. As the hostess, you have three options to choose from. You can
remain a customer, become a Young Living distributor, or become a Young Living
consultant. The incentives you receive are dependent upon this decision.

Option A: Customer – purchase at retail and then receive:

1. A Surprise Gift from your Consultant, as a Thank You!
2. A Packet of Essential Oil Information
3. 10% of Party PV Total in FREE products from the Consultant
4. FREE Product & Information for each Party PV Incentive Level attained.
Levels are: 100 PV, 250 PV, 500 PV, 750 PV, 1000 PV, 1500 PV, and then
continues in increments of 500 PV.

Option B: Distributor – purchase a Start Living with Everyday Oils Kit for $150 and
then receive everything above, PLUS:
